strotter
There are certain steps you must take before you can fully embrace Twitter. The first thing, of course, is that you must make sure that you have no life. Secondly, you must have an interest in others who similarly have no life. And third you must, despite your lack of life, have sufficient self-importance to believe that the meaningless moments of your life is of interest to others. Only when you have taken these steps can you be considered ready to tweet.

jerryb
HAHAHAA.......luv it! Ive wasted my morning trying the understand this cultural phenom to no avail. Im pretty sure there is no true value to twitter....other than perhaps aquiring porn links! I will leave twitter for those that can identify with each others self importance. Thank you for clarity! 260DET
Can't it be used to put false pics of youself on to attract the opposite sex and win hot dates? If not its pretty useless
Nizm0Zed
You need to ask how to use twitter???? showing your age??? In reality, i refuse to use twitter/facebook/myspace ect ect because i cant easily figure it out, and dont want to admit that i am actually getting old and may not be 'cool' anymore because im not part of the 'social' generation. meh, i have a damn nice garage, plenty of tools, and nice cars to turn a spanner on, i dont need twitter
jerryb
Damn right Im showing my age! and proud of it! However it appears that age has nothing to do with it....Yesterday I also asked my sons, 15 and 17.... how to use this freakin thing and guess what....they didnt really understand it either. Both had accounts and both gave up on twitter shortly after registering. They agreed there was absolutely no value to it and indicated only losers tweet. None of their friends tweet...or dont admit to it. Both are very active...... both have lives! On the flip side...we are members of Hybridz!...doesnt that make us part of the "social generation"?....... You need to ask how to use twitter????showing your age??? ShaggyZ
Twitter is pointless for private individuals on a daily basis. It can be a powerful tool for companies who need to advertise last minute sales or someone like ESPN or CNN or even private individuals setting up parties or other quick scheduling. There's very little sensible use otherwise.

Any last minute news or change in plans for a meet can be sent from my phone via text and all the members that are "Following" Houston Nissans will get the message in either e-mail or text. Wichever they chose.
