Have you driven in a stratos? Driving position is horrible. The position you sit is towards the A pillar, so you have to turn your head slightly to see where you are going. Might not seem like a pain now but wait 30min driving.

Not saying I know anything about etching primer. How is it "flaking" is it in layers? then I would assume its because of multiple coats. How was it applied? I mean, obviously it was sprayed, but did you wait till it was set before applying the next coat or was it flashed coated (15 min between each coat)? Was the metal scuffed up with a scotchbright or sand paper to give additional mechanical adhesion to the etching? just some things to clearify for those who know how to answer your questions.

You 2 known each other for over what over 1 1/2 years now. I don't think she would just leave without leaving a note, unless she is that type of person. I don'y know. I try not to act apon assumptions (its ok to make them though, just not act apon them). Usually, when my gf gets mad AT me, it takes me a little while to figure out whats going on. I try to look at the situation from different angles. Luckily I am usually right (but when i get it wrong. migth as well give me a shovel). My gf usually just balls me in with the other problems of her day(or weeks, or months). throw turbo and plumbing on there with 280zxt injectors and disable the vacuum advance on the dizzy. Then work from there. I think Big Phil's car is a pretty good example of turboing a L28 (Youtube)

I've been thinking about sticking with the auto trans with my KA swap into my 280z. What I originally was plan on doing was to adapt the 5speed from one of my L28e engines. I'm thinking its too much of a hastle to do all that now. How many gears does the a 240sx auto tranny have BTW? 4? The extra gear is making me want to switch, but I'm lazy and the auto seems easier. Grrrr. its a toss up for me, now. What are your opinions? (keep im mind I live in alaska and shipping is a pain in the a$$.)

Just make sure its the right one. I have 2x 280Zs (I know its not a ZX, but....) and they both have 2 totally different gas caps. Good luck

In on the subtopic of diesel. Wouldn't it be easier to swap a diesel into the car just to get the "Diesel tag" then swaping in what ever you want. I think this falls into the little (or gigantic) grey area involving smogging.
