  1. It is Hybrid Z, some of the mixing is been incredible. I.E. maxima cranks in f54 blocks, l24 rods, flat top pistons in turbo engines with (of all things) p79 heads! Elusive special cams that can be used as well as hard tapped cam in converted hydraulic head ect..etc. My set up worked the first time without a hitch. I'm really stumped why this is problematic to some. If what I did was in some way a very simple solution to an on going problem then, fantastic, for the amount I've gained here pales in what I contributed. I truly am scratching my head on this one.
  2. Point taken, guess it is easy to figure that you are talking to someone like myself and not clarify. 240mm turbo/2+2 flywheel, with beck arnly matching 240mm clutch disk (w/springs unfortunately;)) and pressure plate and throw out bearing, mounted on the collar of said vehicle, using same clutch fork of said vehical. Some of that is just for comical relief, I did get the point .
  3. Mine work out fine, however, I can not figure out why others are having problems, so my comments at this moment are only for MY car.
  4. ^^True, however, it may collectively be better then the stock turbo manifold.
  5. I really don't think you are going to have a problem with the clutch fork breaking a finger on an oem (turbo) pressure plate. Rolling parts has a point so you will have to decide. Even though it is hydraulic, my clutch pedal had no noticeable increase in pressure. (running stock sleeve and clutch fork, na) So it will be up to you to decide what you are going to do.
  6. Hummm. The throwout (turbo) bearing fit my 83na clutch sleeve. For all intended purposes, i.e. length and fitments. Did not know there was a problem for others. This is why I Assumed (wrong) you meant bearing. Oh well.
  7. I always assume that "one", replaces the thowout bearing when doing a clutch. My beck arnly clutch assembly was a direct bolt on. No problems to date.
  8. Post it in the wanted section. I lightened and balanced a 240mm and put it on my 83na.
  9. Rednecks in Oregon?? What an ass. I thought only Californians lived in Oregon, any more.... teehee.
  10. I believe Jhonc (admin) deals with the ZX suspension.
  11. Ok I'm picking on you. Some of the ZX guys are just getting a little out of hand. Understandable that "most" are new, however there are rules here. Use capitals , try spelling words better and for goodness sakes SEARCH! This is generalized for consumption of just not you but others.
  12. Will the engine turn while in gear with a small push? Pull spark plugs frist.
  13. It is going by the "way side". Kinda like those Chinese that would grow their finger nails grossly long to show they do not work. Working on one's own car is becoming more like a mark of the "lower class". Really their just jealous they don't have a clue so it is made out to be.....
  14. One other thing, rumor has it that commercial restate will be the other shoe to drop.
  15. Take and keep the attitude it's a business and run it as such. Tenants aren't your family or friends, they are buying a product from you, don't give it to them for free or at a discount just because they have a sob story, THEY WILL. This is where I have trouble. Imagine having to kick out a pregnant mom with a two year old toddler. Get a management company to deal with the tenants, you can still live there, just don't let them know you own it. Woman, esp. mommy like to have a place of their own, its a nesting thing. They can also be ruthless with power,,,,,sometimes.
  16. Crap, everyone got slower and pretty much lower for ground support.
  17. I guess... sometimes the obvious needs to be stated. This is why I like this site so much, stacked full of (I can either say poo, or brilliance, whatever), not a man here is not willing to turn a wrench. HybridZ shares in this delineation of ones busting nuts and ones that have. Difficult line. Helping ones self seems to help in finding those that are similar in nature to a HybridZ guy. Interesting.
  18. Outstanding commentary! You have to watch it all the way through! Always like this guy, very thoughtful.
  19. One reason, learning curve. If you are successfull with a cast, then you don't need a forged. If you melt a stock cast, you are not out that much money;)
