  1. That is fricking funny!!! I can see why you would have to take it down though....
  2. Your car in the Spokane area? It's been ridiculous cold here for almost a week. Plus couple of windy days at that temp. If your car had only water in it for all this time, well, I shutter a bit. On this one expect the worse any thing else will be pleasing. Best O luck.
  3. Not too uncommon. Somtimes they can look like crap and work great, somtimes the other way around.
  4. So, I'm not as inclined to the level of trouble shooting that you guys are at here. However, something is in my gut is beginning to tell me that this is being over thought. Maybe take a break for 3 to 4 days and cogitate a bit. Let all the information simmer for a while. Sometimes you run into preignition at high rpm causing damage to the braino. Just my 2ct.
  5. Teehee. Odd the part of my head concerning the Z only weighs in on the micro scale. Oh well...
  6. I'm going to pee into the wind here and take a stab at it. Too small of lines and your cavitating the pumps.
  7. Keep one quart beside the bed;) It is of course, world class!
  8. Funny, I was just thinking of this thread just a bit ago. Great job, looking forward to your progress;)
  9. It's all good;) Nice troubleshooting, just think of how much more familiar you are with your setup!
  10. Cool car! Although I would stick with the Z, not just because it's a Z, but because it is you!
  11. 185k, it happens. Hopfully this may be your problem. Good luck;)
  12. Man that sucks! Heres to hopeing! Fingers crossed.
  13. Great looking car man!! Fantastic color, sounds mean, very nice indeed.
  14. The main generators on our trident were kinda big, especially for it's size;) The Z specialties alternator has worked fantastic for myself. (The Gator belt, which was on my old one, is still holding up, important cause the v grove in the pulley is different. So the belt had to wear in differently)
  15. Happy Thanksgiving to all! BTW, there is this pasture I heard of, right off the road..........
  16. Enough! Josh, you pull the trigger on this or not. Seeing you shave those rods down made me cringe, you push forward on your own accord! and really were very successful. You really need to stop the drama, "it" will never change, only you. In the wise old words of some old fart; crap or get off the pot! Stop sucking at the tit of those that have and be one that has! Peace out. As for Rolling parts, sir, your value is in your triumphs, not dismay, everyone has failed. Sharing your feats and basking in your knowledge, dedication, "stick to it", blazing new paths, is what this site is here for. Yep, sometimes you fail,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Ain't it grand!
  17. At this time I need to stop in order for Josh to have some room here, sorry man;)
  18. I don't doubt your technical abilities, hence, I made no such comment.
  19. Dude, you got to quite being such a downer. Everything (I mean everything!) has it's learning curve. Everyone you get past only makes you stronger/experienced. With wisdom, you will find that it was the journey that was the fun part and the met goal was really only icing on the cake that can get boring quickly. Josh, considering where you seem to be leading your life, this is somthing you should endevor in, stepping forward is a good thing. I have read threads from guys that really know carbs and they can be quite complicated to get dialed in correcty. They are trully works of art. As for injection, my 2ct., well you don't see carbs much anymore. (just an opinion) Regardless, get into the ms section of this forum and start reading untill you start to feel more comfortable. You don't have to concoquer this hill tommorrow. Peace.
  20. You use the collar and fork that came with the early tranny?
  21. Thicker? You mean the diameter is larger? 225mm vs 240mm? It says up above Inc. T, dose that mean turbo? (240mm)
