  3. Out of curiosity, how is the timing belt being tensioned?
  4. I just had a similar issue with my car, camshaft was degreed incorrectly. So maybe check that.

  6. Dude, sorry to hear about the motor; had to be a shitty sinking feeling. I've had those moments once or twice.

  8. Why a 1.5mm head gasket??? Why not just use a regular old fel-pro 1mm?
  9. Out of curiosity how big are those pistons?
  10. There are multiple threads regarding high compression... Do you know what detonation is? Detonation is what happens when the fuel doesn't get ignited at the right time. Maybe, the longer exhaust duration would help, but that is throwing away power and money. I've heard of people using a hotter spark (i.e. MSD ignition 6AL box) to make sure that all of your fuel is burnt at the right time. Then again, maybe the higher octane in Tennessee will be the answer to your problem. Also, running a richer mixture might help but that make your engine dirty. Hell, I've asked many questions; posted, searched and PM'ed until my questions were answered and I probably annoyed the hell out of some people with everything.   11. My general question was did you actually mess with the ZX wiring harness that goes to the alternator... I don't do good without a visual, and lately I've been getting home so late that I cant really see to look at any of this stuff.

  16. How did you get flattop carbs mixed up with flattop pistons? Also, go here http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/105508-racing-flat-top-carbs/ you'll be surprised.
  17. Look at this cam specs from the list I gave you, should give an idea whether it will work or not.
