  1. So interested in this information, keep up the good work. Keep feeding our hungry minds.
  2. I was thinking that is a bit low.... seems like it should be more...
  3. True they are curved, but I think they have enough meat to cut out and smooth so you could have at least some more clearance than you have currently.
  4. Cut up the ones you have and get someone to do the weld work.
  5. Timing chain should have timing "bright" links on them to match up to the 1 position on the cam sprocket and the hole in the crank sprocket. Now the crank sprocket should be about the 2:40 position(think clock position). http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/timing/mechtime.html EDIT: This has been covered many times, please learn to use google; it's your friend. RE-EDIT: I used a simple search in google, "L28 timing" found this: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/99664-l28-timing/
  6. Why not get a different ECU and AFM?
  7. Fuel pressure regulator works off of vacuum. IIRCC a loss of a vacuum will cause a rise in fuel pressure. Not saying that it's your problem, but you might check that. Also, like you said you might try a new FPR.
  8. Possibly you could use the L28 bellhousing like people do with the manual transmission.... I don't know enough about the automatic transmissions to say for sure though......
  9. It's looking good sir! I'm burning the paint off my car for a fresh repaint....
  10. I like it, got a new one for my ZX, blue stitching as well, though different material....
  11. Ha, yes I figured it was a low number, I was just wondering how they would react is all.
  12. That's a great idea, I like it. Seems like a simple mod. I wonder how much protection it actually offers.
  13. Good information to know. That glossifyer looks pretty cool too.
  14. Yes, I get that now... I wasn't paying too much attention when I originally posted, then after his last comment I went and re-read. Anyways, sorry about all that.
  15. Wow that's a new one to me, I've never heard of that either. Though, I don't work on a multitude of cars. I hope you get this fixed. Maybe there wasn't enough sealant in there to keep it lodged in?
  16. Ah ok, I must have misunderstood that. From what I have read and watched plastidip would be a good solution for datsuns. It provides a good covering, its very durable, and it protects.
  17. Is the whole car plasti dip? Also I was wondering how the bumper looked. Been watching some plasti dip videos, I'm about convinced to get some.
  18. those look good, I like the way the tires fit on those. I have the XXR 513s in the 16x8 running 205/55/16s. I'm thinking a tire upgrade is in order for me.
  19. Plasti dip sounds good, I've been trying to figure out something to cover the bumpers. Could we get some pictures? I would also like to know how it holds up to speed. I did the same thing with my side strips, it improves the look of the car tremendously.
  20. I can't really help you with that. Though, people are going to want to know some more info. What cam are you running? why you are doing this? What are your plans for the car?
  21. That's a really good question, I need to do some more floor pan repair. Let me know what you find out.
  22. You're asking that question here at hybridz? There is no such thing as best, but there is a best for your own personal needs. The rule bigger is better applies to the brake master cylinder. So, that being said; the bigger the master cylinder the less pressure you will have to apply to stop your car. So, why do you think the 1" master cylinder is overkill?
