  1. So I would be fine going with the cheaper 66.1mm spacers made for the 240sx?
  2. I've tried searching, but have not come to a definitive answer. I am led to believe that my 1972 240z hub bore size is 73mm. I've also measured the front hub and my calipers say the same thing, but when I search for spacers on ebay, they all end up listing hub centric spacers for bore size 66.1/.2, but no 73mm. Am I missing something? I thought 66.1mm hub sizing was for the 240sx. 66.1mm 66.1 66.2 66.1 Please help. Thanks, Tyler
  3. I had a mechanic buddy of mine come down to do some checking and it looks like no power is coming out of the Mallory Promaster Coils going to the distributor. Power is getting to the relay and the resister ballast so it looks like the Pormaster may be the culprit. Before I bite the bullet and buy a new one (also buying a new Mallory Ignition Module for the distributor just in case), would anyone suggest checking something else out. Or would anyone suggest a different brand or model other than theMallory Promaster 28720? Also I have this particular distributor that goes with it- Mallory Unilite Distributor 4563901H. Thanks
  4. Last week I had an issue with not being able to start my car. I ordered a new mallory distributor cap and rotor. My old cap was burned out. I replaced just the cap and it started up fine. I decided to wait and install the new rotor. "Might as well," I thought. Well now the car won't start! I have no idea what I did wrong. All I did was pull out the old rotor (not held on by anything) and slipped the new one on. I'm new to the world of distributors and don't know much of anything. Last car I worked on was all electronic. Please help! Thanks! Tyler
  5. Sounds good! When are you free?
  6. I'm looking for the entire hood release cable shipped to 91107. Thanks! Tyler
  7. Derek, sorry I haven't gotten a picture up yet. I haven't even had a chance to put them in! Hopefully the weekend after next I can find some time.
  8. Looking good as usual! Looks like you're going to make along term buyer out of me. I haven't had a chance to install the kick panel yet, but when I do, I'll post pics to vouch for the awesome craftsmanship.
  9. Don't lie. You know you have hydraulics on the z! Nice car!
  10. Pretty slick! That's perfect for media and emulators! Now make the controllers usable.
  11. Disgusting! ... and I mean it in the nicest way.
  12. Found what I'm looking for- ignition resistor ballast. Hopefully this will be the fix to my problem.
  13. Well I had this issue before where my car would just instantly die. It was a loose wire before in the ignition system. Well it's doing it again and I think I may have found the culprit. The positive post on this part seems to wiggle excessively. Also it gets REALLY hot and I swear I saw smoke coming out of it after cleaning it with some electric parts spray. What is this part? By the way I have a Mallory ignition setup. The previous owner installed it so I'm not too well versed in it. D. Pat. No. 254186
  14. I'll get some pictures of mine later tonight. One thing about it being in the door is that I always end up slightly kicking it on the way out and knocking the grille off the speakers. It gets annoying really quickly.
  15. bea-u-ti-ful! I love that color. Yes please, share the paint recipe with us all.
  16. I would also be in for a pair as well! I currently have speakers in the door panels and I do not like them one bit. I always graze the cover with my foot on the way out and am constantly knocking it off.
  17. How's the pedal feeling? Did you try rebleeding the lines. What rotor are you running with the 240sx caliper?
  18. What's locking up first, fronts or rears? You're not running any prop valve at all?
  19. What jets and emulsion tubes are you running? what size venutirs?
  20. Subscribed. Looks like it'll be a great project!
  21. So it looks like a 1" spacer may just be cutting too close for my particular wheels. 1.25" it is!
