  2. Check the wire that goes to your coil + to see if it has power when key off . If it does then someone hooked it up wrong . Need to download FSM .
  3. You said that you have spark . If you do then you don't need to test the ign. module . If no inj. pulse then check to see if ECM getting signal ( at neg. coil term. ) or ign. module .
  4. I don't think relay is the case , if your fuel pump relay turns off then the car wouldn't run . Try to apply the brake pedal and/or clutch pedal ( if you have one ) while the car is at stop to see if you hear anything . Could be your pedal assembly or pedal push rods

  6. It mounts to your transmission and pushes the clutch fork . Download FSM , dude .
  7. My advice to you is to get the car running and driving as soon as you can and then work on the other areas . You don't want to have a 10 yrs project sitting in your garage . Best way to learn how to weld is by doing it , hope it's a MIG .
  8. If you have an OBD 2 connector ( should have one if it's a 96 or newer ) , i might be able to get come PIDs .

  10. Amen , brother . Most of them don't even know how things work , how do you expect them to fix the problems . I've been in auto repair business for over 15 years . I can tell you that most of them can't even describe the problems .
  11. Pm mattd428 , he has a pair and the whole back half for sale . He's doing solid axle conversion so he doesn't need the parts .
  12. That ignition module is kinda pricey . That's why so many have converted to GM HEI module . Follow FSM for ignition system testing , 280Z model .
  13. Don't think there's a way to check the ECM . All you can do is to test all powers , grounds , and inputs . If everything checked out good then you condemned the ECM . Noid light is pretty cheap , you can get one for Bosch style connector or the whole kit . Or you can make it one by using a low amp light bulb .
  14. I like them . Classic styling . Woundered if you can get them with built-in turn signal indicators , high beam , and so on .
  15. Car looks pretty good . Spend some money on the back half of the car , like diff. and CV conversion if you are planning on the T56 . It loves rearends and halfshafts . LOL . Hope you know how to weld and own a welder . This project involves a lot of fab. , cutting and welding .

  18. Great job , guys ! Car looks great . Making me wish i have a son , have been doing all the work myself . Getting too old .
  19. Wiring diag. shows that Black and White cables go to solenoid post ( right post if you are looking at it from the back , should be no wire attach to it ) and Black/Yellow is your starter signal which goes to spade connector ( on top ) .
