  1. I might be wrong , but i think the steering has two pins ( rods ) on the bottom side which are use for turn signal cancellation ( part of your steering wheel ) . Check your FSM .
  2. It looks clean . Bumpers are in good shape , body looks straight . what condition is the interior and color ? Hopefully , black .
  3. Check with Nissan Sport magazine . They had a write up on Z31 brakes upgrade by using Z32 and Z33 combo .
  4. For the C5 Vette or in front of the crank ?
  5. It'll be a tight fit . Most of the kits that i've seen mount pretty far out to the side and Z engine bay is kinda narrow .
  6. One word , AWESOME ! Great job , love your artwork .
  7. Looking good . Love to see the front view . And where did you get that airdam ?
  8. If the car ran fine before the new exh. system then you need to check the new exh. system . Poss. that something was left in there ( pipe or muffler ) or came loose/apart .
  9. Parameter IDs , data that you see on the scanner .
  10. At least the igntion system seems to be ok . Now you need to check your fuel system , like pressure and injector pulse .
  11. You can check blow-by by removing your oil cap while the motor is running to see how much exh. smoke and/or pressure is coming out . High pressure indicates bad cylinder sealing or PCV system faulty . Block test requires a test kit which you can get from your local autopart stores .
  12. The setup looks great . Good job . Where did you buy those gauges ?
  13. With your plan , each coil fires 2 cylinders , then GM coils would be the cheapest way to go .
  14. Your dry compression readings are kinda low . And readings went up with wet compression test indicate cylinder sealing problem . How much blow by do you have ? Check crank case pressusre . Have you done a block test , since it ran hot twice ?
  15. Looks like you have a good plan . Doing stock motor or mod. ?
  16. Back to basics . What's missing , spark and/or fuel ? If you carb spray it and it runs then your ignition is ok . Move on to fuel system , check for pressure and injector pulse .
  17. Thanks for a reminder . I meant to add on a secondary cable on mine but keep forgetting . Have heard this story before , it's a pain the a** with a V8 . I was thinking of doing a bicycle cable but no pulley and route it to the front grill area . And have some kind of pull loop which requires a long hook to pull it .
  18. They do look old . If your coolant is nasty , check the rest of your hoses and flush your system while you are at it .
  19. Just pinch all 3 hoses with hose pinchers or needle nose visegrips before removing the hoses .
  20. Thanks for the info on coil springs . I have asked this question awhile back . With 2 coils removed , how many inches lower did you get ? As you can see , mine looks like a 4x4 ( mostly up front ) . I'm running 25" tires . What brand struts are you using and quality of ride after 2 coils removed ?
