Not trying to be a smart *** here or anything but why do you need Johns mounts for an LT-1? I thought the LS1 came out in 98.

It's been done but nothing really clean and the one i saw was a hack job and wasn't really running yet.

I used to watch the old mecha stuff like Voltes V(Voltus Five in the U.S.), Mazinger Z (Transor Z), UFO Grendizer (Grandizer). Anyone here remember Gigantor (Tetsujin), how about StarBlazers (Space Battleship Yamato)?

I think they have incense at dollar stores too and if all else fails do what the guys at Mythbusters did. They used water to prove if a pickup is more efficient with the gate up or down. Although to see the flow they used oatmeal and the water became murky really quick. Either way i'm curious to see results in your experiment.

In the Dallas area there has been a rash of water in the fuel because of the switch over of the ethanol summer blend in ALL grades. They recommend that the gas stations clean out their tanks before using the 10% ethanol summer blend. Smaller stations usually don't do a proper job unlike the big corporate name brand. I don't know about everyone else but with our car that used to run 93 octane we ran only 87, the computer will compensate. What we did with my friends car was just to unhook the computer for around 20 minutes and the computer will re-learn. You can use 89-87 octane in a car that needs 93 but of course you will just loose some horsepower. Make sure you go to a corporate station because most (not all) do the proper procedure to flush their tanks before putting in the summer blend. Also sometimes unhooking the battery is not necessary, but in my friends case we had too. I dont know if you can use E-85 for cars that are not "Flex Fuel" equipped.

Take the stripes off, bigger wheels and update the interior it's ....ok. The wing, eh, some still like em some don't.

I've help my brother move twice long distance from L.A. to Dallas and Dallas to San Francisco. We used Hertz Penske and U-Haul. U-Haul really has the worst equiptment on the road, the Penske truck was better and safer by far. We had to duct tape the passenger door on the U-Haul because it was buffeting at 60 m.p.h. and the radiator had a pinhole leak all the way to S.F. Just don't use U-Haul unless they can show you the truck your using and make sure it's "newish".

The only thing you have to do is to remove the schrader valve or poppet valve and put on the Freeze fittings. I neglected to mention this means that this will expel whatever gas you have left and open the system. The only thing more i had to buy was a schrader valve remover. If you buy the side can tap you can just fill your present system without opening the system although i don't know if R12 and Freeze12 mix. I forgot to mention if you dont want to do any retrofitting to your valves just use a side can tap. The value of your car depends on the buyer, if he likes the same modifications you've done you might get .90cents on back on every dollar you've spent. If they didnt' like it maybe .30 cents on the dollar. So if you spent 20k on it you might get 12-18k if they like it or only 5-8k if they hate it. This is true for every car, the more modifications the more the value gets diminished. A lot of people would rather buy a stock car than a modified one. If it the price gets that low then the car is worth more in parts but get the right buyer then you hit the jackpot. Just enjoy the car for the meantime.

If your system is only low on R12 and you haven't opened it up yet do what my brother and i did. Go on E-bay and look up Freeze 12 kits, they sell for around $40-50. We did this to my brothers 89 Acura Legend and the kit includes the charge hose, one oil charge, three cans freeze 12 and two adapter valves. You will need to remove the schrader valve, put on the freeze 12 adapter vavles. Then put the oil in first after that put two cans only of the Freeze 12. It took about two years before i refilled it with the other extra freeze 12.
