  1. Geez! where do you work? I hate F*#$ng thieves! Probably a crackhead who needed a quick fix.
  2. Sounds like you two were recreating a scene from Wangan Midnight, is that still available on DVD there? Just out of curiosity, what kind of cars do the japanese use as police interceptors?
  3. Great story! A lot of kids today don't even know what a carb is. Suprisingly there are a lot of V-8 Z guys here in Texas, but i've never heard of a Strictly 8 club.
  4. Try using Permatex Clear Silicone Adhesive at any auto parts store, the epoxy tends to become brittle after a while while the silicone will remain pliable and clear enough from a few feet away and will seal good too.
  5. Each branch of the government does not talk to each other, therfore they wouldnt do anything anyway. If the police detains and illegal, they dont call INS unless youre a terrorist or a wanted criminal. They drive with out licenses and insurance anyway, my cars been hit enough 9 out of 10 dont carry any, that's why i carry exta "Uninsured and Underinsured" part for my car.
  6. ....... by the way get a pedicure.
  7. You may have a bad ignition switch?
  8. Wow! almost two and half mountain dews wide! Nice wheels dude
  9. Get the car, worse comes to worse it becomes a parts car. Jus make sure to check the frame rails and floor boards for rust. Rust under the battery tray is common. It's really getting hard to find clean 70-78 Z's now unless you pay major $$$. 8)
  10. The seats i have came out that body style because they do have nice bolster support. I got them cheap only $25 bucks and the seats are black and dark grey. Worse comes to worse just spray some black fabric paint or i got a guy wanting to buy em for $50. 8)
  11. I may have missed this during the search but i just got a couple of late model prelude seats and the only thing i keep finding info on are Miata and Eclipse seats. I was just wondering if anyone has done the coversion from Prelude to 280?
  12. A friend of mine did the mounts and the aluminium spacers for me, he said the motor mount holes are off by a little bit on the book drawing. Make sure you check your actual motor mount on the drawing before drilling.
  13. I like the metrinch too, the main beef i have with it is the $5 per item meaning per socket per ratchet per anything as a shipping fee back to you. I just went ahead and bought a worn out craftsman rathcet from a flea market for a $3 and got a new one in exchange and i just put masking tape on the wobble so the socket wont fall off when im about to mount it on a nut. Like i said they're ok but for the money the cheapest i would go is probably Home Depot Husky, they exchange them too like Craftsman.
  14. Well since all of you are contributing, My brother bought me one of those metrinch sets that you see on tv. The 6 inch wobble wore out really quick but the sockets and ratchet are ok. It's not worth the money in my opinion but it is a good set to bring to the Salvage yard. One word of caution though for every tool that you claim on the warranty, it will cost you $5 per item plus that doesnt count the money you spent sending the darn things to them. I still prefer my Craftsman handtools for ease of exchange when i break them. (which is rare) Stay away from Craftsman power tools though.
  15. Try and poke around underneath with a screwdriver and see how bad the rust really is. As far as the no title car goes, you can file for lost title but it could turn out the car is also stolen and abandoned there. I'd go for the mechanics lien Z.

  17. Check the vacuum lines controling the doors to the vents or cables. When you move the vent,a/c, defrost settings they maybe disconnected.
  18. Have you tried Autozone or other auto part places? They loan you a tool for free with a $15 deposit or something like that.
  19. Wow! That's a nice floor..., i mean nice headers
  20. Based on my experience, 90% of flamers usually are posers ( dont even own a car and wishes they could afford it or drive a piece of Sh*#) or they are 12 years old and have nothing else to do. Ignore 'em
  21. Has anyone here have info or used the Wal Mart house brand synthetic? They're only $2 a bottle!
