  1. Found one thanx all for looking.
  2. I came across some Scarab mounts for my install. I would rather do the JTR of course so I am thinking of selling my Scarab mounts. Does any one know what a good asking price would be if I decide to sell them? I would post this in the for sale section but since I'm not sure if I am going to sell them or not it would be a good place to start with your opinions.
  3. you can make one out of a nail, some wiring a resistor and a led! Its really simple to make a pen light tester.
  4. First are you getting a signal from the ECU which in turn gets the signal from the CAS? Just use a pen tester (LED light) if it blinks then your cas is sending a signal. If not then most likely your CAS is bad. If it is blinking and still no spark then its probably your "Ignitor" go to Zcar.com and look for the HEI wiring diagram. Search for the post by Skittle (thats me as well). If you have questions feel free to ask.
  5. Has any one installed one of these before? http://www.autowiringsolutions.com/item.php?item_id=261 and if so what all was involved? My stock harness decided to fry and in the process it also fried the ignition relays. thanks
  6. It would be cheaper and easier to get one from a camaro/firebird. The datsun t-5 will not hold the torque and HP that the 350 would be putting out for a long time. Try to find a 88-92 WC T-5. I just bought a 89 WC T-5 with the flywheel, clutch kit for $300. It would cost that or more just to get the adapter.
  7. I was thinking the same thing as well. I found a 21 circut system for $180 with fuse panel. I'm pretty sure I can wire the majority of it with the exception of the ignition because my ignition relay is shot as well.
  8. I have both books and will not be needing them most likely. a club member has a set of original Scarab mounts that hes selling me cheap. I should have them hopefully this weekend and will see if I still need the books. If not though you are the first one on the list.
  9. what front is used with this kit other than the gnose?
  10. Heck I'm not even seeing the "Advanced search" function anymore. I want to search for stuff in the chevy section only not the whole site.
  11. ^^^ that car is pure sex, its a custom one-off that took alot of time to get it right.
  12. I'm looking for an uncut front body harness. Its the one that goes from the fuse block to the coil. I need this ASAP my stock one caught fire and now I cant install my lt1 with out the ignition portion as well as the lights and alternator.
  13. as far as the MS wiring there is a really good walkthrough on here and a good one on zcar.com as well. If you get their harness and relay board its almost imposible to mess up.
  14. too bad those hoods don't fit our cars... Sweet deal though.
  15. Shipping to Europe is not cheap. I tried to ship 2 mugs to england and they wanted $150 for it.
  16. Why not just upgrade to the maxifuse? I'll check my extra parts to see if I have any laying around.
  17. Update While scanning Craigslist I found a guy selling a WC t-5 for $300. I talked to the guy and the motor was a 305 with 52,000 original miles on it before the car was wrecked. I also talked the guy into throwing in the flywheel, starter, and clutch for free! So I'll be picking this stuff up on saterday and plan on having it installed on the motor this weekend. So all I'll have left to do is get a Master cylinder, the mounts made (for free(ish), i supply the metal), exhaust, driveshaft shortened, and thats pretty much it!
  18. On a side note has any one tryed using "hyperfiber" as an alternative to FG?
  19. Have you checked http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PEM04/10-4080 ??
  20. Nice info and thanks for the links. On a side note what rims are those because I want!!!
  21. Update I joined a lt1/ls1 forum and one of the guru's told me as long as I have a 93 PCM/ECU I can run the engine with no problem. Better yet I can stick a air filter right on the TB. So in conclusion the 93 harness with 93 ecu will work on a 94/95 lt1. (not sure about later lt1's though)
  22. They sort of look like some centerlines or even welds but not too sure. Have the person take one off and see what it says on the back side. What kind of car is it on now?
  23. I have a 94 lt1 with the MAF sensor. I bought a custom Harness with a chipped ECU from a guy that had a 93 lt1. Is there a way to install the MAF sensor into the new "custom" harness or do I even have to use the sensor? I did search but got tired of reading the same info.
