  1. Very nice site. I wish I could do that kind of work with Homestead. Impressive and bookmarked. One thing tho. You dont have HYBRID-Z in your links! :malebitchslap:
  2. Making us think as usual grumpy. I would have one if I had the room in the garage. I havent even bought myself a damn compressor yet due to space issues. One of these days I will be able to go to the track and blow out Ujoints with the same reckless abandon as you Grumpy. Just not today
  3. ROFL that list is funny stuff....and pretty accurate in most cases too. Thanks for posting it
  4. I recommend you call a few cam manufacturers and get professional opinions. Thats why they are there. Once they get the specifics of your combo they can recommend a cam that will fit your exact needs. I know Comp Cams makes a great cam and they have awesome customer service. I would try them first. While Im here, i'll take a stab at the the cam I WOULD pick. For that combo Id give the Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 262 a try. good luck RJ
  5. No!! Theres another picture of the fancy floorjacks. Dont look at it Jason...DONT DO IT! Your ugly, greasy, yellow Kragen jack works fine and you DONT need the new fancy one. Willpower man, will power
  6. Welcome aboard and best of luck with your priject. Youve come to the right place...thats for sure!
  7. i see them on ebay regularly and they look very close if not identical. Try searchin for "strut brace 240Z"
  8. Mucho Kudos! The video made me smile! Cant wait to get mine to that point. I was listening to Tool with the video running and I thought of this video I should make, lol. Ok, song name is Schizm. Its the song that has the chorus of " I know the pieces fit!!" over and over again. While the chorus is playing I'll be looking at all the parts all over the floor with a determined look on my face. I know the pieces fit!! Then when it breaks into the next bar it shows me thrashing on it..gettin it done. Then at the end of the song theres a heavier part with drums. That would be left for when Im about to start the car and as soon as the song ends...the engine fires. I saw it in my head and it could be very funny! RJ
  9. Heh looks like Sleeper and I had our clicking finger working in unison on the last replys
  10. My buddy has a 94 Supra TT. His engine was dynoed at 403HP at the crank. He only ran a corrected 13.02@117 on street tires. I watched him run and, although he did get alittle tire slip, he definately wouldnt be in the 11's on slicks. 12.7 MAYBE. And yes, I got the joke, but I know one 400HP Supra that for sure doesnt run 11's. RJ

Looks real good. I'd guess that was a FLowmaster 3" in/ dual 2.25" out. I bet its loud around 2200-3000 rpm
  12. That looks like it'll be lots of fun when yer done!
  13. Yup, these will works fine for ya. I have the same size wheels and, even with NO coilovers, the rims clear the fender lip and the stock struts. With coilovers 17x8's will be fine
  14. Here's my opinion Zya... Testing is your friend. Although it may be tedious, its the easiest way to find a problem..by eliminating possible offenders. I'd stovetop test your thermostat. Power flush the system and look for low flow starting with bottom hose off WP. Swap the rad...%&*%..i know. I think you might have a partially clogged radiator that only restricts badly at sustained mid-high RPMS. More pressure from the pump on the freeway and its much more steady pressure. Some boogered up passage ways in the rad could back that steady flow of water up...but the variance of RPMs around town would allow it to pass at low RPMS. Something to ponder Jason
  15. Also, there's a tremendous amount of information available right here on HybridZ. The search function is a very powerful tool around here since this group has been so aggressively building, testing and pushing these cars to their limits...and they put it all in writing! Try a search on JTR for starters Welcome aboard! Jason
  16. LLLLLLooooser I admit i missed it on the first quick glance. But I highly doubt these people were bidding on the resource. The seller has 0 feedback and could be trying to walk away with this poor guys moolah. Hopefully trhats not the case...
  17. I didnt get the chance to hear the sound. That very well may have changed my mind. I'll look at it again when i get home and see if I can get sound this time. Jason
  18. Wheels look good JWink. I got a set of Centerline rims in the same size recently. I too am waiting on the coilovers. I got the Rhinos. I was skeptical about how these Centerline billet style wheels would look in 17 (personally dont like them in 15-16" on Z-cars) on my Z. Once I mock fit them, even with the car up in the air with the suspension hanging way down, I stepped back and took one look and said "DAMN!!....I done Good!". I cant wait to see them on my dropped Z. Im sure you feel the same way Enjoy your new wheels. RJ
  19. I'm alittle unsure on this one. I started out thinkin it would be another 12 second boosted hatchback and wasn't impressed. As I read his mods I took note that the 'package' as a whole was obviously built to both breath well and withstand some rpm's with big cylinder pressure. Ok, I'm alittle interested now. Watched the first video. The honda looks like it scoots but not a good enough vantage point to judge. So I watchthe second video. This sucker is freezin up and i had to keep restarting with the play button. Then hand-scrolled the adjustment tab and watched it slow motion. I think the second video (streetrace video) may be BS. I didnt watch it long...only a few times. Both the wheel speed and the road/scenery kinda looked....well SLOW. Slow for them to be racing...and to have been racing for several seconds even towards the end. I suppose I might very well be wrong because my thought about it possibly being a farce was an afterthought. None the less, the Honda seems very impressive. I like the stealth undertoned looks. Not 'sleeperish' enough for my tastes, but it looks sharp. Thanks for the links RJ
  20. Simplicity....Power....Availability.....Price Chevrolet V8 Preferably BB my $0.02
  21. I have to laugh at this post... I spent hours and hours stripping, sanding and painting my engine bay. The kicker? It STILL probably doesnt look as good as yours does untouched!! Note to self: Next time you shop for a project car...SPEND THE DOUGH AND BUY A CLEAN CAR!
  22. Rock on Mike! Im glad to hear you getting back to buisness after the long garage mission. I'll be expecting some burnout pics once you get it buttoned up and dialed in! Jason
