  1. i was going to get a motorcycle gas door and weld it to the body, and weld a neck to the top of my cell, and then run flexible line between them.
  2. I know the member "sr240z" has this modification on his white car. But he didn't perform the modification, it was on there when he bought the car. He's running a fuel cell though. Im probably going to try this too, i'm not too fond of the idea of opening my hatch to fill my fuel cell.
  3. ...its newer.maybe it looks nicer. and you can have fun cutting up your z
  4. ivew heard if they're made from that phenolic plastic they isolate the carb from some heat from the intake manifold
  5. Take it from me, one of the attributes of an SR swap is definately not low cost...
  6. Austin, where'd you get those aluminum bungs to mount the IC with?
  7. retail is around 1500 per seat... sure i could get a set...if i saved up for 3 months, but im far too practical for that... thats why im going to make seats that kinda look like them... the exception being, they'll be made from aluminum
  8. It happened right when i was watching "the league of extraordinary gentlemen" on my friends brand new 50" plasma screen at the part when venice is exploding. so at first we all thought it was the tv...lol.
  9. does anyone recognize that mountain? coooolll
  10. i was wondering about this too. is it possible to cad plate aluminum? im thinking of doing my valvecover.
  11. im not trying to sound mean but i think you should buy them and measure it yourself so you get it correct.
  12. i suppose i can measure mine when i get home, if that helps any.
  13. you wouldn't neccessarily need coilpacks either, you could use a fwd head with MS 'n' EDIS to get rid of the dist on the back of the head.
  14. if i were you i'd get the whole rb26 drivetrain, from the engine right down to the hubs. everything else will most likely be custom made.
  15. that would be "sr20forum.com" http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=149334&highlight=datsun+adapter
  16. FWD BLOCK ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT FIT THE RWD SR TRANNY. I'VE TRIED IT MYSELF. The fwd head will however fit on the rwd block. i wanted to use an s15 6speed so i had to get a rwd block. if you want to use a z tranny, [or possibly a ka24 tranny, since they've been adapted to L6's without much fuss, but dont take my word on that, i havent done that conversion] then you could use your fwd sr20de. to my knowledge, a rwd intake mani would bolt up as long as its around the same year, because the changed them at some point[high port/lowport] there may be other issues that arise that you'll have to solve on your own because for the most part, you'll be in uncharted territory. everyone else just uses rwd, because it doesn't seem worth the fuss to mess with a fwd de.
  17. i'm using a 24x12x3 intercooler. and you'll most likely need a custom driveshaft.
  18. heres mine so far, i've got some aluminum seats in the works too.
  19. Not exactly a Z...but how about a GULF theme, its very eye catching, i saw those colors out of the corner of my eye once, and immediately thought GT40! and i snapped my neck around to look. it was new GT40 painted in the baby blue/orange GULF theme...i always thought that was kinda funny.
