  1. very cool Jeff! I'm also in the construction industry, I install secret-agent passageways in buildings. [sheetmetal apprentice]
  2. i like 240z's personally, only because they're simpler. and i like the 240z dash better too because the center part of the dash looks better imo [angled instead of straight down]
  3. It shows who left +REP in your user CP. it'll say, posted by..."whoever"
  4. This recently started happening to me in my DD, after i ran it into a ditch. At around 42mph, and decelerating slowly, the steering wheel will start shaking like crazy! and i was told that the front driver's side wheel is shaking pretty badly too.
  5. When you get an exact quote let me know, and one more thing. If you get enough buyers, approx when will all of this take place?
  6. I might be interested in 2 wheels because i recently bought the first pair. Watanabe R-Type 16x9 w/ -13 offset In gunmetal [240hoke's color] with a machined lip.
  7. Ive got a pair of bz3016 [240z rear] left over, which ive heard is the same as bz3015, but with the spacer. [body is the same length] pm me if interested. unless youre after bz3099 and i misunderstood.
  8. if its illuminas youre after its BZ3099 [mr2 rear] for the front, and BZ3015 [240z front] for the rear, these are for the 240z/early 260. i dont know what you need for the late 260-280
  9. it seems theres actually been an increase in wheels available for our Z's...consider the new Rotas,etc...
  10. ive heard they're toxic. wear a respirator.
  11. sneak peak of the next intended project. i kinda want them to look like bride Gias seats, but made from aluminum.
  12. this one sounds the best to me so far. becase i dont have a great deal of room for a cam sensor.[it would be on the back of the head near the firewall] although one could be fabricated to fit i think. the proposed coils are s13 sr20det coils. [which should be on the way to me soon.] or q45 coils,[ because they would be fairly easy to get, and they utilize an external ignitor as well.] thats if i wanted COP sequential Ign. but if i were to use the EDIS 8 coil it would a great deal simpler, not be COP, but still sequential.
  13. that is sooo awesome! read the comments on the video, they're hilarious.
  14. ^ i wish getting a hakosuka was that easy/inexspensive...
  15. depends...you can drop it in pretty much stock... or you can drive yourself insane in a endless string of modifications... whatever you do, contact vildini motorsports, they've got what you need, and the advice is free.
  16. thanks braap. since the original question was answered, i hope we dont mind going a little off topic, basically i want to try a COP ignition with my sr20. the rwd versions already came with COP, but my head is a fwd, so im trying to get my hands on some coilpacks, good news is theat they dont have internal ignitors., i'm a bit of a newb to all this but i'm trying to learn. and i was thinking that maybe if i used an EDIS 8 on my 4cylinder, i could use it like a COP ign. instead of wasted spark. is my thinking correct on this? if i used the 4 triggers from edis 8, i could trigger each cylinder seperately? [so there's more time for the coils to chrage..thats the main advantage of true COP right?], this thing is going to be revving to 8200 rpm, and is turbo'd on top of that, so i figured id need a pretty strong spark.
