  1. This was just dicussed the other day. Not sure which forum but, anyway go with the Nissan gasket it's the best that I've used and seen.
  2. Just curious if anyone else goes through these about once a year. I know I've replaced one about once a year for the last few years. I know the heavy duty Pressure plate is part or all of the proublem. Anyone, have the answer?

  6. You don't have to use relays but, they sure do help.
  7. Looks like that should make a fun, fast turbo car. I'll be curious to see what you boost limit will be with the flat tops and the stock injectors.

  9. Good point it wouldn't take very much human error to really mess up the #'s at that speed.

  11. Thats just crazy!!! What kind of distance would he have to cover to get that high of speed and be able to maintain it for any length of time?
  12. Seems like the units that I've seen go for about 400.00 give or take. I've seen on the high side 500 for a non rebuilt unit.
  13. Well, I'm hopeing to do something with this transmission in the next 6 months so I'll post what information I come across on here so we can have it on record. Heres something that I just found. Not to bad and if would hold the power would be ok. I just wonder about how the in and output shafts are.
  14. Yes, you'll hear it alright. When I was running the 3" manderal all the way back with no muffler you could hear it at even the slightist touch of the thottle if the car was under a load. Now with a muffler it really quietened it down.
  15. I think I would tryt he plug change gapped at .035 and leave the FP as it is. If all is good then back it down and open the gap from there. Your already pushing it as it is. Better safe than blown.
  16. are you asking for a complete list? Computer is the older JWT setup that I bought used from a member of Hybrid Z. It uses the 85 Z31 computer and MAF + 420cc injectors. I'm sure the newer version is even better than what I have. Better computer and the MAF is larger. The JWT setup is not the end-all-be-all computer but, you'd be hard pressed for it's ease of installation and flexiblilty. Especially if your like me and most of us. Not a computer programmer. I have no dought that given the time to learn all the in's and out's of a programable computer I could replicate what I have now but, I would have missed all the fun of enjoying the car for the time being. This is my daily driver. Down time is not a good thing. If you want a complete list let me know and I'll start thinking about all the stuff that been done over the years.
  17. How much are they new? I bought mine several years ago and it was 299.00 if I remember correctly. After shipping the one in Japan wouldn't be to far from that price.
