  1. Thats the boost controller that I have. It's easy to use and works well. You'll be surprised how much torque you'll gain by using an electronic boost controller vs a manuel one. ya i no.. i think ill bid.. i just dont know. mike I don't blame you. Did you notice where it's coming from? Shouldn't make that big of a differnce but, if the product never came it would be hard to knock on that guys door and get your money back. Seems like you could find one closer.
  2. Thanks for the info. Sorry it took me so long to look at it. Wonder what would happen if you took the exact same combo and ran a hose from the front of the radiator to the air inlet. Measure that and then hook up the air filter infront of the radiator and see what happens then.

  4. I agree the Nissan gasket is the best that I've seen for our setup. I've herad that the Fel-pro is good but, I've never used it before. As long as the Nissan gasket is avaiable then I would use it.
  5. Wish I had the money to get one and do this conversion on it. Thats the swertist setup. New car with cool styling.
  6. Thats a sweet kit. Anyone know how much it is?
  7. What brand of springs did you order? All the lowering springs I've seen are shorter than the factory issue springs. They will stay in thier spring purch at all times unless maybe you do some Dukes of Hazard style jumping.
  8. Wow, That took some work! Looks good. Can't wait to hear how it runs.
  9. I looked at it again and see it doesn't work for L Jetronic. Sorry!
  10. Glad to hear you got it fixed. Any pics of the new seat sides?
  11. Not to sound like a pesimist but, those have considerable pressure drop on them. I tried one and lost several psi. Sorry I don't remember the exact amount. Also not that it can't be used but, I just wanted to let you know incase you don't get the desired result from the combo. This would be one place to look for some free power. No dought the workman ship is looking very good.
  12. Looks good so far. Is that a Conquest/Starion intercooler?
  13. If you are careful you can run the pipes throught next to the AFM. Thats how mine was for a long time. You might try this http://www.splitsec.com/ They don't have a kit for our cars but, you might give then a call and see what they can do. Every now and then I see a JWT setup for sale used on the net. Thats what I have and makes a huge diffence.
  14. I once had a t4-t3 with the stock turbine after a few years I had it rebuilt and put in a clipped stock wheel and the power was much better.
  15. Throw some pics up here when you can. I'd like to see another version of the same thing.
  16. I've thought about an automatic for the car but, really I believe that a sports car has three pedals. I haven't ruled it out but, I want to see about a manuel trans. for the car first. I've done some reading about the G-Force T-5 and it looks like it may be the only real option if I want to keep the T-5 in the car. I guess I need to give them a call and see what they can do with the Nissan version of the tranny. I read an article today about the G-Force version of the T-56 and it's supposed to be great shifting even at some higher RPM's. I don't remember seeing if you've gotten the Tremec finished and driving. Have you? What do you think?
  17. So did they do it on the car or did they pull the hubs off and do it? So glad to hear that they work great. Hopefully I'll actually order mine by the end of October.
  18. Try the 89 Maxima alt. They are 90 amps and are in the same case. The early 90's Maxima are in the 120 amp range but, the price really goes up. It's still way cheaper than buying an aftermarket high amp alternator. I pulled mine out of a 89 Maxima from the JY and had it tested. It's still working fine after 2 years of use. I was just going to use it as a core but, it turned out there was no need to spend the extra bucks.
  19. That sure is light. You might do a search and see but, it seems like I remember a couple of guys saying thier 13lb flywheel was to light for a daily driver.
  20. Let us know how it turns out. Which dealer are you going to?
  21. I've never seen or heard of anyone getting it to work right on the ZX. I do know that a member by the name of Kenny was working on it several years ago.
