  3. That was awsome! I love the sound of the 60k round/minute. Think of how that gun will be an asset to some (crappy shooting) deer hunters Although, not much will be left of the deer... Check out how they outfitted some C-130's with the 50 calibers and some other stuff (just had a total brain fart), they would fly around in a circle and just unload a ungodly amount of ammo in every square inch of a spot the size of a football field in just seconds. I have a video of this, it's just jaw droping . !M!
  4. I found something else to put a turbine into... how 'bouts a GO KART ! Here's a picture of the turbine kart Here's the web site for this really fun looking thrill ya/kill ya machine. Enjoy! !M!
  5. How about FT LBS Just throwing another idea out there. !M!
  6. There are so many things that made me laugh in his description of his car. Looks like he used 1/4" plywood for the "body kit". Since he didn't use the proper plywood for outdoor use in the first place, I bet you he didn't use the proper fasteners either. I like what he said about it having never been in a wreck and it's all original body.... yeah, but now it's full of holes, and he SAYS THAT TOO! Just wait 'till it gets caught in the rain a few times... it won't get "more attention than any Ferrari" anymore! The plywood will be waving at you. !M!

  9. He's gonna need a CDL to drive around that turbo! Damn !!!!!! !M!
  10. How about a Supra engine? The truck is not the same year as yours, but I'm just giving you an idea. Check out this site . I know they make V-8 kits for the Toyota trucks, just do a search on Yahoo, Google or what have you. You should come up with something. !M!
  11. Welcome! Yes there is, and I'm sure they will chime in. Tell us a little about your car. !M!
  12. Welcome! If you go to this thread here , you will see the side by side photo's of the R180 and the R200, also if you scroll about 3/4 of the way down on that thread, you will see my post that shows what rear end ratios came in what car. Hope this helps you. !M!
  13. You're movin' right along now! Hope the inspections go well. As for the insulation, do it yourself. Very easy to do. Just wear a longsleve shirt, pants, gloves, mask, and if you don't like the crap in your eyes, then get yourself a pair of those goggles that fit tight to your face. You can also do as Jeromio said and dress up as Stay Puff marshmellow man . Seriously, it's easy. Why pay someone, when you can do it yourself, unless you don't have time for it. Tips for installing it? Just don't play with it like you would with cotton candy . Try to keep the movement of the stuff to a minimum. When you shower, take a LUKE WARM shower and RISE it off of you. NO hot shower! My uncles dog found a bat of insulation to be a good place to sleep a few weeks ago... I think the dog is still itching like crazy. !M!
  14. Yup, Energy Suspension bushings are a pain in the butt. I wouldn't go as far as grinding metal away from the hub. If you have to grind anything away, use some sand paper with a block of wood and take 1/32" off each inner bushing until you can force the control arm in place with just a little elbow grease. I personaly didn't have that much trouble with mine. I just used some thin metal putty knives with grease on them to ease installation. Remember to put on the poly bushing lube, otherwise you will end up with unwanted squeeks from the metal rubbing on the poly bushings (I HATE squeeks!). If you end up squishing most of the poly lube out during assembly and it squeeks, then here is what I did. I used a small phillips screw driver and heated it up cherry red. I then inserted the hot small screw driver into the inner poly bushing (between the control arm and hub), making a small slot in the poly bushing. I then used a toothpick and dipped it in the poly lube, and placed the lube in the little slot that was just made. Then you take the whole assembly and work it back and forth as far as it will go, in both directions. This will smear the lube out evenly between the inner bushings of the control arm and the hub. Viola! You will have no more squeeks. On a side note, I don't think that the small slot (the size of a toothpick) in the inner bushing made any difference in it's function as a bushing. Yes, dirt may get in there, but dirt gets everywhere anyways. I just read my post and if you think you will have any problems with squeeking, then make a small notch on the inner poly bushing before you put it all together, so you don't have to use the hot screwdriver method. !M!
  15. If it was on a new M3, maybe he had the engine replaced 32 times????? Or, I think it has something to do with the last gen Z car, but I cant think of what the heck the 4 letters stand for. !M!
  16. I have to say that I have been waiting patiently for your results. Thank you for the pictures! I'm more of a visual person, so pictures help out a lot. I can't wait to find out how it works on the track for you. Please keep us updated. Good work! !M!
  17. Most of the smarter people that I have seen have hidden a small cable to release the door on a shaved handle vehicle (in case of battery failure). I have also seen magnetic release switches before with thier own battery backup. A person I knew a few years ago, her Dad had a really nice hot rod with this magnetic release mechanism. Just waved a magnet in the correct "hidden" spot, and viola! The door opened. They hid the magnet release thing under the running boards. VERY trick setup. !M!
  18. Those are the new Panasports. I think they are called the "Panasportnawoody" . !M!
  19. Cool story! Around here, you would get a finger instead of a grin. Everyone thinks they are better than the next just because they have money. The way they think is that "money buys happiness", but every time I ask them for some money, they won't give me any . I just want to be happy . !M!
  20. I always wanted to know how the exaust was run on that Chrysler Turbine Car. Thanks for the neat reading !M!
