SAV has been used here on talk radio for a few years now. I still laugh everytime I hear it . I was doing this house for a rich yuppie couple 2 years ago and one of thier vehicles was an Excursion that just the lady drove. I asked her if she needed a CDL to drive that thing and she starred at me with the deer caught in the headlights look. I had to go back about a year later to repair some drywall that the husband knocked a baseball bat through (hmmm...) and noticed that when the lady came home she wasn't driving the big @ss school bus anymore. She said it was only used for short trips now, because fuel costs to much for it (so why the heck do you still have it?). So she drives a Camry now. I think people just got caught up in the SUV craze. They all wanted to be higher than everyone else , bigger than everyone else, and maybe there is that intimidation factor when people see a 2.5 ton vehicle 4 feet from thier rear bumper while doing 75 mph. I still like the old school SUV's like the Blazer, Jimmy and the Land Cruiser to name a few. !M!

I'm curious myself, anyone know What did that sucker run you about? !M!

Nice! Sleek, I say the colors that represent us are red and blue (maybe white?) kind of sticking with the original colors of our forum. The logo would symbolize pretty much what you said, "speed, classy, individualism, creativity, fellowship, car knowledge, engineering...". I see us as the old school cars with new school thoughts to make them the way "we" want them regardless of what others may think. What is "unique" about this board? Maybe it's the common courtesy that everyone has for each other. Most of us respect what the others think, whether its totaly out of the box or trying to be "all Nissan", but to each thier own. Since we have members from all over the place, it would be fair to have a logo with the flat map of the world in the back ground? Just thinking out loud. It's kind of hard to convey a picture through words. !M!

I just noticed that there is a different font for each of the board styles. The font I was refering to was on the zonesilver style. !M!

Love the new look also One thing, I went to the members area and sorted everyone by location. What came up was the cities that people live in in alphabetical order followed by the state they live in. Not much help when you want to see who is in your state. Is it possible to sort the members by states instead of cities? I really like this new format! Lots of cool new things to exlplore . !M!

If this next run is really a go, are you going to use the new font for HybridZ as seen at the top of the screen? I like the new font a little better than the old one . !M!

You could do it that way too, not much running involved . I just wrote down the first thing that came to my mind without sitting and thinking it out. !M!

Turn on one light and leave it on for about a minute, then turn on another light and run to the room as fast as you can and feel the two bulbs. The hot one will be the first light switch you turned on, and the rest you can figure out quite easily which light switch goes to what lamp . (BUT, this will only work if the lights actually turned on when the switch is flipped up) !M!

Give me the materials and tools and I can build you just about anything, but when it comes to words that just don't interest me I draw a blank (and start thinking about what I can build ). BUT if you were to say you would give me $50, you bet I would have the correct answer. On the other hand, if it was for a job then I would have the correct answer too. Try living right next to Milwaukee. I am NOT looking forward to the big celebration coming up. Sleep will be non-existant. I have to admit that Harleys are cool and all, but the owners think it's mandatory to put straight pipes on it. I like those electric cutouts, but the price is just to high. I think I'm going to have to vote jeromio as the best "while I was at it" canidate. Since I have been on this site, that guy has updated us with many "while I was at it" stories . We all have this particular syndrome, just some are better at repressing it than others. Then there are the guys that no drug could cure: -almost a decade to finish his car? -8 second passes in the 1320? -full fiberglass rebody of his Z? -and many more You know who you are... With the 16" AZEV's, your car doesn't look so plain as it does with the 17" Porsche wheels, but that's just my opinion. !M!

That price is for just one. Pegasus is right down the road from me, so I had a chance to look at them. From what I understand Carrera makes them. !M!

He's got a good voice. Guy's got talent. Personaly, it's not my type of music, but I bet the chicks would dig it. I gave him a 7 out of 10. He lost a few points for repetition and drawing out the song a few minutes longer than I think it should have been. I think he could make it in the real world. !M!

If you want an idea of how it's done, look at an older Toyota MR2. They were called "TwinCharged" I believe. !M!
