  1. How do you know what you are down for? Well, if you have posted here, then you know Seriously though, Mike, you were the very first to want this patch and I have you down for two. To those that skim through threads (I do it sometimes too), the patch is $7. The patch that is being produced is shown below (with a slight revision as stated above). If you posted here with the intent of buying a patch, then I have you marked down and will contact you to see if you still want one. Also, Dan hasn't returned my PM yet, but should I make anything on this group buy the extra money will be donated to the site. When I recieve the patches, there will be a post on how to conduct this group buy. One more thing, I asked earlier, but can someone move this to the group buy forum?
  2. Yup, I got ya 280Zforce. I have everyone marked down who either expressed interest (in this thread or PM) or definitely wanted a patch. When I get the patches, I'll let you guys know. EDIT: I'll mark you down for one Wondering Nomad, but please do not send any money yet.
  3. Please don't post in more than one forum with the same topic. Tim240Z posted the same thing last year (I think it was last year). I tried to find his post, but the search feature must not be working correctly. Ah ha! Searched that Frappr site and found it. http://www.frappr.com/hybridz EDIT: May as well include the link from your other topic... http://www.frappr.com/zowners
  4. It's not to late. I got you and Rival5 marked down for two. I'm thinking I should have ordered more. I ordered extras, but since I ordered, people have been PM'ing me and most have been taken up already.
  5. Well, just recieved word that the sample patch was completed. I saw it and it looks really good! BUT, he doesn't like the "engineered to be feared", because it's all in lower case letters and the "e"'s don't have really good definition (although I thought they were okay). So, he's redoing it so that it looks like "ENGINEERED TO BE FEARED" He hopes to ship out the patches by the end of next week. EDIT: Okay, figured I would just load the pictures and show you guys. Here's the sample patch that has the lower case "e"'s that will be changed to upper case. I think they look good, but Bob wants me to be 100% happy. Is that great service or what!? The upper case letters will look like the "ENGINEERED TO BE FEARED" in the old patch below that will not be produced.
  6. Mike, for a guy that has no place to work on his car, are you sure you want to do a YZ wide body AND a single turbo LS1? Stick to getting your blue Z running right, then get a place of you own with a garage, THEN find a decent woman, and go from there.
  7. What do you plan on doing with the car? What gear ratio do you want? Help us out and we can help you.

  10. A good friend of mine has a '87 Trans Am with a *drum roll* Buick 455 installed. Has working A/C and everything. I have been out a handfull of times with him and this car and it is a sleeper! The sound of a big block through a single 3" exaust is definitely different. Just thought you guys might like it. It's on eBay right now to see if there is any interest. Click here

    Oh Boy

It's different, I'll give the person that, but why he used headlights as tailights is beyond me. Do you hit the brakes and blind the person behind you?
  12. Lewis, I met you, and you are a very cool guy. You took a road that only a few have taken. Some are set in thier ways, so be it. Mike says in that last quote, "You simply can NOT argue cubic inches... The more you pressurize that little four banger to get that power, the closer to the end of the engines life you come." I don't care who you are, this is true. You may have a wieght advantage, you may get good miles per gallon of fuel (if you're good with the GO pedal), but don't feel that everyone is against you. Don't feel that you have to justify your decision for your engine choice. You may have to rebuild the engine sooner than others, but this is the engine you wanted for your Z. I have recieved a lot crap (mostly from purists) for putting in a V-6 in my Datsun, but for me, the ends justify the means and I could care less what anyone says about it. I built this vehicle for me and no one else. Try your best to brush off what some guys with little knowledge have to say about your engine choice and drive your Z with a smile on your face knowing that it suits your needs and what you wanted. Live it up man, you have a quick Z that is on the road and you are enjoying it. That is more than some people can say on this forum.
  13. Since this is at a new shop, did you fire the guy that was taking forever to complete it? Looking awsome by the way!
  14. Yes, but lets see what's going on before a quick fix.
  15. Sounds like a dream I had the other night, but I saw myself standing in sort of sun-god robes, on top of a pyramid, with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at me.
  16. The cage and everything came together great! Nice looking interior. But, I have to ask, what the heck kind of muffler is that?
  17. Oh yeah... those twins were running the show. Damn, I'll look and see what I can find for ya. EDIT: The show is/was called "Full Throttle" and it was on the History channel. Good luck finding the episode online. Those stupid twins did an episode on a couple hot air GN's which was piss poor, by any means. Those two guys sucked.
  18. I think my clutch pedal is still laying around here somewhere, since I switched to automatic. If you can't find one local to you, let me know. The ZG flares will look awsome! They will bring the look together in my opinion. I just can't get over the wide meats in the rear! Looks like something you don't want to mess with
  19. With that gusset, brace and connecting the subframe to it, that sucker is going to be stout!
  20. What about a gusset underneath the TC bracket, 90 degrees to the frame rail, attaching it to yet another side of the frame rail?
  21. 5. Drive off the road, because you can't see anything.
  22. Nope. Tried to pull it, push it, curse at it, but the only course of action was to cut it from the lower control arm, then press the pieces out. Rust fusion (what I call it) is a real pain in the butt.
