  1. Yeah, but I don't know why he used so many spark plugs. Just one in each pipe would have worked fine. !M!
  2. Bad@ss Neon: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2443208104 Some shots of the new C6: http://www.autoweek.com/weekart/2003/1201/vette400_frontclip.jpg http://www.autoweek.com/weekart/2003/1201/vette400_side.jpg http://www.autoweek.com/weekart/2003/1201/vette400_rear.jpg http://www.autoweek.com/weekart/2003/1201/vette400_side2.jpg !M!
  3. Geez guys, don't be to hard on him ... I think what they mean is, you did a decent job phtoshopping that on there, but it just doesn't look right with respect to this vehicles lines. !M!
  4. I used to do something similar. It's called a Works bomb. You use toilet bowl cleaner with hydrochloric acid, comonly found in The Works toilet bowl cleaner. You put a bunch of aluminum foil strips inside a 2 liter bottle and then add The Works. Cap it up, shake it, set it down and listen for the boom. Cops did a few tests on the news and said they have the power of a stick of dynamite. It got pretty crazy around here when I was little. People started making Works bombs and putting them inside mail boxes (Man those things took off in the sky!), and then there were the idiots that put nails and BB's inside them to see what happened when they exploded. I think you can figure out what happened to these morons. !M!
  5. I could have helped you that night, but someone else would have been driving. I went out club'n and was pretty loaded. I'm down for that. Besides, you haven't even seen my Z yet . Hmmm... I just checked the weather for this Saturday. Says "A few morning showers. Highs in the upper 40s with temperatures nearly steady overnite." We'll see if the weather holds out for us. I don't really look to far ahead on the forcast, because in reality they can only forcast 12 hours in advance and be somewhat accurate. !M!
  6. Hey, you got it, but for $20.50... Oh well. !M!
  7. Well it's at $10.69, heck a bounced check costs more than that. Bid in the final minutes and chance it. !M!
  8. I'm assuming that the ball is on the other end of the bottom piece, which is not shown in the picture. Since the auction is going to end, the seller will most likely be at his computer. There is 26 minutes left, just click on "ask seller a question" and ask him. !M!
  9. Sweet! Nice bike I love the V-twin sport bikes. I want a Honda SuperHawk soooo bad, you can pick one up for about $2k now. I live in and around cities, so having a V-twin to romp on in between stoplights is just more fun than reving the snot out of a 4 banger IMO. Clutchless wheelies in second gear is a blast! I was going to get another bike this spring, but a Condo sounds like a better investment for me. Remember, if you go down, wounds heal and chicks dig scars I heard that you can easily take the packing out of the stock mufflers for a cheap (loud 8) ) upgrade. !M!
  10. I don't know what they used to gear the turbines down, but these guys did it with many different vehicles: http://www.marineturbine.com/ I would really like to know how they did it. !M!
  11. Garrett, If you absolutely have to, then use the EZ outs as a last resort. I used my kit not to long ago and will never use them again. To tell you the truth, my last project with the EZ outs was getting an exaust manifold stud out (earlier this summer). The stud broke even with the flange on the header. I figured I would just use an EZ out to take the broke stud out instead of taking off the whole header to get at the little bit of the bolt that was protruding from the head. As I was just starting to back out the stud with the EZ out, for some reason it stopped and I heard SNAP! Ohhhh, did that piss me off... Try as you may, you cannot drill out an EZ out to start another one and be precise about it, so I had to take the header off anyways to get at the little bit of the stud that was protruding from the head. Grabbed it with a ViceGrips and spun it right off If you can, try using those reverse style screw extractors thingies (can't remember the exact name of them). Otherwise drill it out and heli coil, try not to bother with the EZ outs, because if one breaks off inside the stud before it starts backing out, you're in for a treat! !M!
  12. A torque tube? Like what is seen on the C5 'Vette for instance. Somebody have the picture from Ebay you can post? Here's my WTF is that engine: 320 HP @52,000 rpm 425 ft/lbs @ 2,000 rpm Compressor Speed: 54,000 rpm Can run on diesel or kerosene Yeah, that's right a Rolls Royce Allison 250 gas turbine! That's the only picture I could come up with at the moment Routing the exaust is going to take some thinking. As for the transmission, I have no idea yet. !M!
  13. Hahahaha Whoa love the new avatar... so ah, some of your own handy work? !M!
  14. Doug, Use your HybridZ username and password. I just used them and got in fine. !M!
  15. It's slow, but coming along. My buddy and I are working out when I can use his garage to do the swap, but we now have a problem. There should have been room for me to work on it in his garage, but he now has one more of his project cars in there (a beautiful '64 Buick Special GN Hybrid and a immaculate '71 Buick GSX 8) ) so we're trying to figure out a plan to get my car done without having to leave one of his cars sit outside. Oh well... hopefully I can do the cage and subframe connectors while it's sitting there too. Now that would work out great for me. I now have DSL and I got some web space with the service, so I will have a buddy of mine show me how to set up a site for my swap. As soon as the L24 gets pulled, I will be showing progress pics in the "6 cylinder tech board" for any that are interested. Keep us up to date on the progress of the puke green mobile ...I actually think it looks like more of a candy green color from your pics. !M!
  16. Hey, your Z is the color of money. All of us here know you like to spend it, represent! (Just playing Mike ) !M!
  17. Here guys, The Smoking Gun knows all... http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/paristapesuit1.html I guess the tape was 27 minutes long. Never heard of this bimbo untill this thread started. !M!
  18. YES! Way to stick it to them! I refer to my insurance company the same way. I was actually wondering how your situation was turning out. Glad to hear your son is doing well. I'm not far from Chitown, a few buddies and I might have to check out your music. !M!
  19. The driver sure must of felt a horses @ss... !M!
  20. Kind of like that little sports car. It's got some really cool lines. I say, be different, DO IT! Man that would be sweet, having a kick @ss Z car like yours and a rare (one of a kind when you're done with it) Lancia. The only thing that would worry me is stock parts that need to be replaced. !M!
  21. Warren, Yes heat rises, but considering the velocity that the air is moving inside the intercooler, it's not goint to make much of a difference wich way you mount it in that respect. Once the warm air is inside the core, it is not going to rise to the top of the core considering the design of it. A good friend of mine said that you do want the inlet of the intercooler to be inline with the part of the intercooler that is shown through your air dam (if some of it is hidden) if possible. !M!

    Zamborgini

I think I saw that in Mad Max, but it was painted black and had spikes sticking out of it. It's definitely unique. !M!
  23. Funky... could you post a picture of one? !M!
  24. Yeah no kidding... and who put those tile down? Didn't they ever hear of snapping lines? Man... Anywho, nice rides! !M!
