  1. heres the link. http://www.xenonz31.com/s130/Z31MASin280zxt.html theres a better one, but i couldnt find it, if i do come across it i will post it.
  2. i dont want to know how much rust is under that top.
  3. you want to know whats funny, i found that exact tape today in the cassette player of a z32 in a junkyard. i looked at it, made a pathetic joke and threw it out the window.
  4. either way i sold the car many days ago, so it doesnt really matter.
  5. if you have the bolt on lower shock mounts i would consider welding them to the arm.
  6. holy crap i found pics, they suck, but i couldnt get the outer most pad in.
  7. no, this was about a year ago before i sold it, if i remember right the rotor needed something like 1/2 and inch more back spacing to be correct and that was a little more then i wanted to space that caliper out with washers. if someone can measure the height of the brake hat and then measure one from a 92 N/A the only difference is the hat, everything else is the same.
  8. why not just machine out the stock control arms, and get a howe screw in lower ball joint sleeve, weld it to the stock control arm on both side, then just ream out the s13 spindle to accept the howe ball joint? (I'm also in process of doing a s13 spindle swap on my s30)
  9. 103 and sunny! still wearing long sleeves and long pants until it hits the big 120 next month.
  10. i tried running my z32 rotors with the z32 from a 92 NA and the rotor didnt have enough back space on my 88T endend up getting some new 88t rotors which eventually solved the problem.
  11. why not ditch the stock heater and get one of those aftermarket heater/blowers, then just run the hoses to the appropriate vents?
  12. i believe it was in 76 they went bigger and then the s130 got a bigger/flatter designed one. since z***.com is well z***.com here is the link with reference photo's. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/1/1981383
  13. just to make sure, you know there is a wrinkle in the right rear corner right?
  14. i used a brake booster from an s130 without any problems, just had to flip it upside down.
  15. he's trying to use z32 rotors on his z31. just stick with the stock z31 rotors and use shims to make the brake caliper spacing correct. then just get the correct brake lines and thats it!
  16. You have to realize though how well that seat is going to stay together in a crash, when i crashed my z32, i found that the seat rail had actually cracked in two places and broke in one and thats with an OEM crash proven seat.
  17. 12PSI with megasquirt a t4 turbo, exhaust, intercooler and some 3.54 gears. yeah it took a while to get there and that turbo was glowing afterwords, but it made it (barely)
  18. what speeds though? as I'm looking for stability and reduced lift at speeds great than 100MPH. (dont want to be doing a wheelie in the car when you have to turn to avoid the 300' drop)
  19. my guess's no oil, the lash was too tight, or the lifter failed which caused it to stick up?
  20. one thing you could do very cheaply as well as improve reliability is the z31 EFI swap on the l28et, out of every z31 i have driven i have never had a single problem with its EFI or ignition system, even after i ran 10PSI on dying injectors.
  21. took a buddy's turbo s30 to 140 on the GPS and it seemed fine?
  22. i would say, go l28et with a z31 EFI swap for reliability, or you can fix the common issues associated with early s30 wiring and fuel and drive it!
  23. i would say go find a used tow dolly and convert it to hold tires and tools, as you need some data plate with a serial number and weight to get it registered, which some dont come with.
  24. i would highly check the floor area, as "The floors have fresh fiberglass laid over the original floors (nice and strong)" sounds like he did a cheap-o repair to cover up rusted through floors.
