get a newer aluminum GM power steering pump, then get a power steering reservoir, mounting plate and pulley then take it to a hose shop to have lines made, or take the stock power steering pump and custom make a bracket to mount it to the block, which if you have accessory bolt holes on your head wouldnt be too hard.

at the north western corner of desert truck and auto there is a 83 zxT auto that should have the motor still in it, if not the dizzy is under the passenger floor mat of a z31 just east of it. theres only three z31's in that section though. and why couldnt you have joined the forums like 5-6 months ago? i was looking for another z car guy in the desert.

the rims where spares that came with the car and are actually very nice, i will try and get some pics this weekend as for the tire shop i have always used these guys Ruben's Tire Shop‎ 82775 Indio Blvd, Indio, CA‎ - (760) 347-3802‎ they are good guys who will do under the table work for cheap.

$20 for the wheels if you get the tires dismounted and give them back. and palm desert just east of cabazon on the 10 by indio palm springs coachella, thousand palms..etc

would a vg30e/t put you in a different class? if you make it look stock and throw a little grease and dirt on the motor mounts you might be able to get away with it.

nut and bolt the whole car twice, look for damaged and worn parts that could be a hazard, check the wiring, plugs and wires, i would highly recommend putting a new set of plugs in the day before and the main thing is to pay attention to the school and dont be worried about your car it will be fine.

you where a victim of "guesstimation" if they never clocked you they weren't fallowing then they say "well i had to top out my cruiser to catch up to you" the reason they had to put the public in danger was because they had to make up the story before they pulled you over, also if they would have clocked you doing 120, then there lights would have been immediately on, not just catching up to you and then flipping on the lights. if all they have is "well i had to go fast to catch up to you" then they have no argument against you.

if you can afford it, get an aluminum cell with the kevlar bladder and foam (ATI and fuel safe) or get a plastic cell with foam inside a aluminum case with a cage built around it.

lets see off the top of my head i have a set of decent and usable W series heads with springs and valves still installed, two sets of rockers, lifters and guide plates for the heads, good 5spd trans from an 87 NA, a turbo plenum cover sand blasted and ready for paint, lower and upper intake plenums from an 87 NA, decent set of t-tops (no shades) good W series block, might have a set of non W-series heads, black 86T hood scoop no scratches all mounting studs intact. plus alot of other smaller stuff. i am open to any offers on any of it, as if it doesnt leave it goes in the trash. edit: also have the driverside turbo engine mount.

strip and blast the entire car, then decide how much rust there is.
