  1. nice gear! Where do I go about getting me some of that protection? (can you also take out 3 of the pics, since I have to scroll a whole page just to see the next reply?)
  2. Unfortunately, our quasipuppet govt. we're setting up in Iraq will fail... democracy won't work because it's a country whose laws and morals are solely derived from islam. They will not be able to separate church and state (or, mosque and state in this case) from the govt, and ultimately fail
  3. I emailed him a couple of days ago, but haven't heard anything back
  4. I recall James Thagard made a run of custom pieces, and I missed out on that sale... is anyone else manufacturing fitting units?
  5. yeah, but HF stuff isn't the best for prolonged/shop use. would you trust tools made in china? I've snapped an HF breaker bar before. I've broken a spring compressor most of my stuff is from HF, but it's for personal use, not professional
  6. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/nation/3014358 obviously, someone neglected to inform them that: a. they're now commies b. if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns
  7. I'd pour a 40 ounce... but you know, that'd be redundant
  8. http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/57135219.html let me know if you managed to decipher it

  10. quick check without pulling the diff cover off: if you turn one wheel, and the other spins in same direction - lsd or welded spider gears if you turn one wheel, and the other spins opposide direction - pegleg
  11. wasn't me. I bought the 4 point harness from you
  12. yes. IIRC, the 280zx cvs have 3 bearing joint, while the 300zx has 5.
  13. what you'll need: clutch pedal clutch pedal box clutch master cylinder clutch master slave cylinder clutch MC to SC lines manual 4 or 5 speed transmission appropriate flywheel appropriate clutch and friction plate. clutch fork price range? Used transmission is ok, clutch pedal and box mechanism, maybe used flywheel that can be resurfaced. Everything else should be knew if you're doing it. I'd say about 300 bucks for a nice round figure. Maybe 400, depending on parts availability. Local 4 speeds run about 50 bucks, 5 speeds about 100 or so in used condition.
  14. i bought my front suspension component set from http://www.p-s-t.com, because they use polygraphite bushings. This was before the energy suspension set came out, but I got moog balljoints and tie rods with it. So far, they've held up ok. (well, left side. right side was replaced due to an accident) but if you're planning to road race, like john coffey said in all posts, nissan oem new old stock is your best bet for reliability. Moog components should work just fine if you're planning to use it on the street
  15. why, they could even play Tom Jones' "Sex Bomb" while dropping them!
  16. what is....snow? i'm in california, it hit 1* C at night tonight.... that was horrible!
  17. why would you want to do this, aside from performance standpoint? only benefit would come from widening the chassis, imo.
