  12. I am thinking of making some runs of a idea to fix this problem...It would be much cheaper than the MM type spacer, I just haven't come out and ask everyones opinion if they like what I'm thinking about and checked machine pricing...PM me and I will run through it w you...What year is your car.
  13. I know this is in the V8 section, but if any of you guys find a drawing like the one above showing L series motors, please share...I have been thinking of trying to mate a GM trans to a L motor....Most that have done it are not helping me out much...Thanks
  14. If you can't get the rails off by hand, try a can opener with the wide flat side, put masking tape around that end so not to scratch and do a small amount at a time....I got mine off with out it, doing the twisting method spoke of above, but have used the can opener on lots of older cars...
  15. You guys think that 240 is seriously a 500hp car?
  16. Send me your file to look at. I had about this same prob a while back, I will see if it is the same prob.
  17. Would it help much to add spacers to the oil pump spring to get the pressure up some? My car does the same thing, what is a good pressure for these L motors? I also have turbo and often wonder if it gets enough oil even though I use a turbo pump...Thanks
  18. Use the holset dp and weld to it...they are like 3.5 and 4in...depending on what they came on...
