  1. Thanks for sharing! I think it sounds great, it's not that loud IMO. I'm sure you still have alot of work cut out like tucking away wires and all the time consuming little things but, I'm sure that stuff will be a breeze knowing that you have your engine running already. Keep up the good work!
  2. Nice! Congrats man, Very well deserved. Hopefully that great feeling will come soon for me as well.
  3. I'm flattered and creeped out at the same time. lol
  4. I like the interior and all the instrumentations, esp. the cluster.
  5. This might help http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=125246 Also I would assume the L28 weighs a little bit more than the L24. then just add the weight of the turbo.
  6. Now all I have to do is extend the TB flange and seal the airbox and the intake routing will be finished. I'm happy the way it turned out. I think i'm going to take the slits on the driver side of the cowl and place them next to the passenger side ones so that more air can be drawn in the box easier. Also probably going to remove the center slits and close up the wiper holes.
  7. Will the AEM ems be able to control all of the VTC functions like the stock electronics on the rev up?
  8. That looks fun to drive! Your swap is much different than the typical SR KA swaps, I love it. Thanks for sharing over here on HybridZ.
  9. Dry Ice. Or you can do it the old fashion way with a putty knife and some heat.
  10. Wow looks great. Really neat and organized not like many of the turbo L series engines you see with a billion hoses/lines, wires etc.
  11. I bought the tow hooks from ZCCjdm.com and then modified them to my liking. I would have just used them as they were designed but, my front end is kind of missing
  12. Youd be surprized what you can do with a cutoff wheel and some good hand- eye coordination.
  13. dahm that thing sold for 5 times more that it did when it was brand new!
  14. Thanks. Yeah, I just posted a pic if it here http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=948698#post948698post948698
  15. A while back I had to tow my car because I spun a wheel bearing. I ended up having to remove my front air dam to access the frame in 100 degree heat just to get my car onto a flatbed. Never again... so I made some attaching points for each end.
  16. Update: Finished cutting/welding the holes and tubes for the intake routing. However, i'm still going to add 2 90 degree bends which are on their way. I'm going to complete the 2 walls of the airbox with some aluminum sheets and then seam seal everything tight. I'm hoping that this will be my last engine swap so I figured I finish everything off with the same paint as my body exterior.
