WD-40 in my eyes don't ask how it happened . One time I was welding in shop class I sat the rod down and it flew out of the electrode holder, Burned through 4 layers of clothing before burning the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. I cant remember the amount of time's I was trying to get something loose and it did and I slammed my hand on something.

I wasn't under the impression that they lifted ban's I thought it was just permanent at least I had that impression after the whole Pinks Z fiasco

First time I've seen one of those diff cover's They look pretty nice although It would be nice if they had some oil return/feed nipples built on them for installing an diff cooling system

I really like the Front strut bar, It really fits in there well. As for the Rollbar, it looks good for mounting race seat belts thats about it . Keep up the work though I'm sure you just saved a couple hundred dollars building your own strut bar

Keep in mind your thermostat could be broken as well if it did not move at all

Twistex: sorry about the name confusion , So im guessing you have a "friend" at the smog shop because that car would instantly fail visual and probably the pressure test, If not you tested the old motor and then swapped this baby in . Whats the name of your shop I might head up there when I have the free time.

Twisted: I noticed you live in Modesto I live in Turlock very close maybe we should meet up so I can see this beast in person. Also this car is track only huh because that motor sure as hell wont be legal considering California's laws

Well technically I believe the N/A motor would make more power because of the higher compression ratio (Eg Flat top Pistons) versus the dished turbo pistons. But the turbo motor has a slightly better block and is more suited to the turbo with its lower compression ratio

When you look at Nissan's older vehicles it starts becoming blatantly obvious how aerodynamics wasn't really in mind when they where made. The Z was very cheap when it came out and was touted as an affordable sports car. Nissan did what works and i think what they did worked pretty well considering the car is popular 35 years later Back on topic though, when you look at the spirit garage Z look at how the lip continues into the flairs creating an entire system. The flairs might not even be there for aerodynamics it could also be that the tires are so wide it was a necessity. Looking at the gigantic radiator entrance this probably is one of the worst area's of the Spirit garage Z. There needs to be ducting to put the air direct to the radiator, Along with a much smaller entrance. Ive never seen under body pictures of the Spirit garage Z but I know the exhaust exits below the driver side door

I would make sure your injectors are pulsing thats one of the most common causes of Z's not starting is fuel becuase the injectors arent opening.

Most people end up replacing the speedo with an aftermarket one when it comes to using an RB, Although I'm sure someone has successfully gotten the stock Z speedo to work with some tinkering. As for the neutral switch all it does is stop the starter from allowing the motor to turn over . Im thinking you might be able to get away with not plugging it in. if things dont work out though you'll probably need to hook it back up.

before we start getting into the motor have you tried a new starter yet? if the motor is seized the starter wont make any noise. since its going to just get stuck on the flywheel automatically.
