Didn't Mike use a 260 for the conversion that is covered in the book? The 240-260-280 all are based on the S30 chassis and are all very similar. The JTR book gives some wire colors for each model, especially on the page Forces was talking about. It is a picture of a hand drawn engine with carb, dizzy, temp sensor, starter, and alternator labled with wires that go to them. Like the other guys said, search arround and you may be able to find pics.

I paid $300 to my older brother about a year ago. It was more of a trade actually, that was the deposit for his new appartment The L28 in it ('79 zx) was shot so I've only drove it 4-5 times, but I'm getting close to geting the V8 running!

The seller's name is "Franks_fast_510" so I'm guessing it's legit. His feedback shows that he's only sold one other thing, though. Personally I'd call him, it gives his number in the auction.

Dude, where's Max? He'd be all over this! lol That's cool, mull. I agree with NKC that you should use metal rivits for the body panels, maybe some steel flares? You could also keep a kill count on the front fender like WWII planes.

Sweet! GT-40 front end with a Ferrari rear and a whole lot of in the middle. If the kit is 20K, you could have a very fast and nice car for 50K.

I've owned it for a year. I bought it from my older brother for $300 and he had it for about 2 years. I think he got it from a couple in Grand Island who bought it new in 79.

MIG is technically GMAW or Gas Metal Arc Welding, but usually means any wire feed welder. Flux core "MIG" is more like stick, or SMAW I guess. What if you got a normal MIG setup, but used flux core wire with 8-10 PSI of shielding gas, rather than 20 PSI so you use less gas?
