  1. Nice. He's got some good videos on his site, too.
  2. Just make sure you get an alumnium one, some of the later ones were plastic.
  3. The 531W is wider than the chevy 350. I don't know about ZXs but I think there are some issues with clearance in s30 cars. If you do go with the chevy, I can try and help with any questions you have. I'm finishing up my swap in my zx.
  4. It's the line warmer. It never seemed like mine worked either, but I think it just blows really softly.
  5. Wow, That's a nice house/barn. What size lot do you have? Can I live in your attic?
  6. Dude, looks like you've got a fungus problem Here's mine, mostly stock
  7. You could always run a dry sump set-up
  8. Cool, glad you got it sorted out. Once I'm done with the swap I'll have to come up to Omaha for a day
  9. What about using a piece of wood to spread out the pressure? Other than that use one of the points the other guys have mentioned.
  10. I think the factory scissor jack has a sticker that shows jacking points. Behind the door on the little lip where the body panels meet there's a little cut out that's supposed to mark the spot. I'll try and post pics tomorrow.
  11. Just call the guys at JTR. I'm sure they'll be more than willing to sort things out with you. PS, where in Omaha are you?
  12. Does it still function? Once in a while I'll leave rep if someone makes me laugh or posts something usefull.
  13. Well... at least he's trying to stay active.
  14. Wow! You can see him squint his eyes right before he lands, he's thinking "This is gonna' hurt!"
  15. I think ~500 HP is a reasonable limit. Much more than that and you're pushing the street-ability of the car (oversimplified, I know. Don't flame me for it:flamedevi) As far as boost goes, I don't think I'll be running more than 10lbs but who knows. I'll side with OTM, if that's alright with him. I've got family in Georgia, afterall!
  16. Humping the tail pipe? It'd be cool to see how a stroker stacks up against smaller cube turbos!
  17. TV cables are on the 700r4 (or 4l60... no "e") which look mostly the same as the 4l60-e. The "e" stands for electric controlled.
  18. Can I get in on this? I'm close to getting my car running, but have plans beyond just running I'm thinking a TT carb'd 305. I have zero money and am going to start college in the fall (I'm younger than you, OTM ) so 2010 sounds good to me!
  19. I think both of you were getting at the same point in a rather round about way. The Veyron is not just a sports car and not just a race car. It's both. It's a undeniably fast car with no shortness of comfort and style. A similar idea was eluded to in the thread a week or so ago about "The new sports car"; No auto maker sees profitability in selling a striped down, race inspired car. Today everything is about the "bling" and how luxurious you can make a package. I honestly believe this is why the F-body cars were becoming unsuccessful and will never reach the same level they had 10 years ago if they are ever re-introduced.
  20. Dude, video's gone! I was talking to some friends from across the pond (in the UK) the other day about this car. They said one of the driving forces in building it was to help boost Bugati's sales. I wonder how much it really costs to build one, they mentioned 1 million (pounds, so like 1.9 million USD) but I'm not sure... Edit: I don't think it's fair to call the Veyron "bone stock"
  21. Ok, thanks. I'll find something in my wiring diagram, which is invaluable!
