  1. do they fit the RB25 too? I think they are neat Oh and if they do fit the 25, I will take one
  2. Car is a 75 280. I made some steel brackets out of 3/8" flatbar to mount the 240 bumper onto the 280. I sucked the bumper as close to the body as possible so it would look better (imho) Im fixing the car as we speak, ive got the standard "while im there" problem going right now
  3. Ok, I remembered I had one hosted at AOL. good closeup of the airdam with a bumper this time.
  4. DOH!!! they dont make them anymore, that sucks. As for mounting, mine was really a strong piece. I would maybe add a brace or two to the foglight mount area, if I was going to be doing alot of highspeed stuff. Sorry for my lack of pics, I had a bunch of nice ones, but they are all gone. (boooo) Kenny
  5. I was running that air dam on my car, you can kinda see it in my sig pic. My roomate had the great sence to delete all the old pics off of his computer so all the bigger pics I had of it are gone! I filled up the foglight holes and it made the thing look way better. I hope to find another one. I jammed the car into a ditch and turned the air damn into about 100 pieces.
  6. Does anyone have a drawing with measurements on it of what this looks like. Ive been thinking of building one, but I dont have the slightest idea what it looks like!
  7. I fit the Audi/VW pump in my Z. There are guys with Audi turbo's making like 475 whp on the fuel pump, so I figured it would be all right in my car. I got mine out of a 88-92 quattro (called 80 or 90)
  8. Crap, those numbers make me happy and its not even my car. OK, just surfed through your gallery. Nice header! what turbo is attached to it? Kenny
  9. haha, thats a great project. My other project I dont usually tell people about is a 1980 Fiesta. Totally different car, but everyone likes to call it a festiva. (I want a GTX too!)
  10. yeah, my roomates SRT runs like 13.3 @ 108-109 pretty much all the time with pretty much the mod list you said. Kinda wierd for that high of HP SRT to do that poorly. We just got done installing the AGP 50 trim kit, so next racing season his car should be going a little faster.
  11. So ive got this Q45 diff im going to be selling, I just wanted to figure out what was going to be the best way to ship it prior to having someone want to buy it. Im thinking wooden crate and UPS, but am open to your ideas. thanks! Kenny
  12. I ran a totally stock S12 200sx non turbo for my first two drift events. The thing cost me $300 and a few hours of work to weld the diff up. Ghetto and sorta ugly, but it got the job done.
  13. you can get a nice finish with the right tool and spindle speed. You will have to sand on it any way to blend the edges in. On a side note, if you start grinding to take the spark plug wire holder things off, there isnt enough material to make them flush, the casting is pretty thin in that area. I know that from experience!
  14. Yeah, just a brigeport style mill with a big face cutter would do the job. I did a 16v VW cover for a friend and it looked pretty sweet.
  15. Sorry to jack your thread, but how much do you want for your S12 turbo, and got any pics of it?
  16. We ran SDS EFI, the EMF4-6F system, on a XKE at my old work. It had individual thottle bodies on it. So yes it can be done.
  17. Bastard..... now im going to have to flush/mold the headlight buckets to the fenders. That looks smooth. everything on that car is the sickness! Those are the same miriors I wanted to run as well. Glad to see a finished car, gives me a little insperation to go out to the garage and get to work EDIT- Whats the offset on those rear wheels?
  18. My roomate has an SRT-4. I like it. Upgrades seem to be pretty endless, fuel milage isnt too bad on the highway if you stay off boost. Seats are alright. Did I mention the cup holders.... they hold the BIG jack in the box cups without getting in the way of the shifter Oil catch can is simple, there are a few home depot solutions for around $30.
  19. Im curious about this too, ive got an old momo monte carlo wheel that I would love to have recovered
  20. Am I the only person when I read this thought "hrm, an LS1 into a 944, 928, or other front engine porsche would be pretty easy" It would already have a radiator, the engine bay large enough for a good sized V8, and a transaxle already in the back. I know the older rear engine stuff is lighter, but I wouldnt mind a little luxury or ease of swap into one of the front engined cars.
  21. Im mid way doing mine as well. I was thinking of spraying some of that crap "chrome" spray paint in there to cover the soot in the drivers side housing. I used WD40 to clean the soot off of the lens them self, it worked out pretty well!
  22. That thing is awesome, showed up on a local forum a while back.
