  1. This is a long shot but here it goes... I had an oil leak that drove me nuts (i mean frigging nuts) and it turned out to be the accessory bolt hole on the passenger side of the 350. The top one goes clear threw to the stock location of the fuel pump. At idle it wont pump oil..only till 2500-3000 rmps. I know u said intake but i was thinking maybe the fan was pushing the oil up there, i know with my motor it got everywhere till i plugged it with a short bolt. Not all sbc have this accessory hole going into the stock fuel pump area.
  2. I hate thieves That really sucks. put something in the z in plain view and stake it out, when they come back you and a couple friends jump out and beat the living dodo out of him...grind his face in the broken glass...then let your dog tear him back... then piss on him...he may go now. Tell him if you ever see him again you will beat him hard not easy like before..
  3. dumb ass. Dude in back falls out and becomes dead, dude (or dumb bitch) driving is now in jail for man slaughter serving 10 years. ... Now that would be funny
  4. I watched the show too... for once i wish they would redo a classic and not make it look fugly.. if they would have made it look like the original but with that aluminum frame and that badass v-10 it would sell like hotcakes... Shelby did take it around the track yes, but i think that was someone else doing the burn-outs with his jacket and hat on
  5. some of those monzas came stock with a v8. My mom bought one right off the showroom floor in 1975. I learned to drive in it, even stock it was pretty quick as i remember. Don't know the weight.
  6. yeah I did ask your advice then do something different. crap. Im going use it and see what happens. let u know.
  7. anyone else, because i already bought it and its in the mail
  8. With my stock goodwrench motor do you think i could bump it up to the sum-k1104 224in and 224 ex.? And with a stock converter? Thanks for all your replies. -bob Are buttons and lock plates required. from what i have read only with bigger cams and roller rockers. is this true?
  9. Did the guy that paint your car use a hardener in the paint? If not the paint can take 30-60 days to dry completely. This may be why the paint scratches so easily.
  10. the 92 goodwrench motor only has about 15,000 miles on it. does that change anything regarding the parts i have to replace? thanks bob
  11. If i have to replace the rockers, timing chain and valve springs i guess i wont be doing it. At least not for a while. Is the replacement of these things really nessasary?
  12. those frigging gardners with blowersshould be shot! When my car was still in primer dude was blowing dust all over it so much it looked loike it was in a dust storm, i yelled so much but then i realized he did not understand english. so i had to find his boss and gave him the riot act... i was so pissed off i was spitting all over him..haha... still he seemed not to understand.. i told him I got a leaf blower go get your car so i can blow shit all over it. frigging idiots. I hate birds and trees too.
  13. 92 goodwrench 350. Edelbrock street master manifold, 600 edelbrock, hugger headers. What is the biggest cam i can use on this motor with the stock block and heads that came with the motor. Im looking at the summit k1103 214 in 224 ex or k1104 224 intake 224ex. or the comp 268H Is there any problems i may have with the pistons hitting the valves with the stock heads? thanks bob
  14. ok thanks shauno, I will try that later on today and let you know what happens.
  15. it seems like it is getting more gas for those ten seconds. it pulls at 2000+ just like I had my foot on the gas.
  16. i was thinking the same thing so i took it conplety off and same thing happens. thanks for the relpy though. anyone else?
  17. Bought (my 5th) z for my wife, its a 77 280z with FI. The problem is when the car is driven and the rpm rises above 1500 i can take my foot off the gas and throw it in neutral and the rmps continue to rise to 2000-2500. It does this every time. Between shifts its stays at 2000+... when i come to a stop it stay up at 2000+ for about 10+ seconds then suddenly comes down to the proper idle 0f 800. I can not get it to do this when the car is not moving from under the hood or by pressing the gas from inside the car when the car is not moving. I have lubed the linkage, installed a stiffer spring. tightened all the hoses and tubes. The very strange part is that it only happens when the car is moving...hmmm Any ideas? Thanks, Bob
  18. maybe they are just doing what so many of you always preach... using the search function and browsing.
  19. I looked here http://www.faribault.k12.mn.us/brian/camaro/specs.htm#engine3rdv8 And I see you are right... the 350 in 82-92 camaro only came with auto. So the motor that I left behind was a 305.. kinda glad i did not buy the motor now. But all this does not answer my question but thanks for the informatoin, may come in handy in the future. Can someone tell me what clutch set to buy pleeaasee..
  20. Yeah stock repacement, I'm not sure what else to get..heck i am not even sure stock is right..haha. The 327 is stock so I am thinking if the cluch set is good enough for a 89 camaro with a 5.7 it should be fine for my 327. Not sure
