  1. tail light seals: take tail lights off and seal them with silicone. hatch: This is most likely the mail problem. I sealed everything in the car... still got fumes, hatch seal looked fine. Then I bought a roll of thin self adhesive foam strip and put it to the hatch on the underside. not all the way around... only on the bottom side and about 8-10 inches up the sides from the bottom. use the thin stuff. You will have to slam the hatch the first few times. if the hatch won't close take a couple inches off the sides. No more fumes for me at all! I used to drive around crying the fumes were so bad...
  2. I don't like it... looks bent. Who cars about the pivot points and all that (well, i care a little). Why have a bent bar on the back...makes no sense
  3. maybe the thermostat is hammered.
  4. Hello. 91 350 chevy Gm Goodwrench crate motor stock. With Pertronix Flame Thrower HEI PerformanceDistributor, 50,000 Volt Flame Thrower Coil, MSD 6A Ignition Box, and 600 edelbrock carb. Question: what should I time it at? I have a timing light but not sure if it should be 5 before tdc or 10 before ... or even tdc... any help? thanks, bob

  11. headers are on the oppisite side so I dont think so. DO u have a volt meter, check the battery. If the ground wire coming off the battery to the starter is loose it will cause a click. Check all the connections
  12. battery dead bad connections on battery or starter

  18. well maybe Im not normal... but I hate irritating birds and trees. What is the part number on your carter? summit has a 5 psi and a 7 psi but I don't see a 5-7 psi pump
  19. I am about ready to buy the carter fuel pump for my v8z. I see in the summit catalog the are two that might for my stock 350. Should I get the 5 psi street pump part number crt-p4070 or the 7 psi street strip crt-p4594? And is the 7 psi 4594 louder than the 5 psi pump. Also, is a regulator required for these pumps? thanks, bob
  20. How much for the cater electric fuel pump? and is it the: CRT-P4070 CRT-P4594 CRT-P4600HP CRT-P4601HP which carter is it and is it new or used? thanks bob
  21. 235.$ is a bit high for the msa kit for the zx, but considering it comes with the conversion engine mounts, plus GM rubber insulator engine mounts and the 700r-4 tranny mount its not tooo bad.
  22. I had the same problem with my brand new holley 600... adjusted that thing till mt head blew up. Then I got a edelbrock 600 and threw it on and it runs like a raped ape.
  23. I paid 30 bucks for mine. We looked at about 10 of them before we found a clean fan that did not make any strange noises. Some are 1 speed and some are 2 speed. The two speed ones have three wires and the one speed have two wires. i think... i do know the two speed fans have more wires, I would have to look at it again. Still hanging in garage. Maybe someone can confirm this # of wires thing going to try and make time to put it on sunday
  24. Has anyone tried the MSA upgrade kit with four piston front calipers and 50% more pad area I am thinking of getting that and there cross drilled rotors. four piston front calipers: http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TZS&Category_Code=PBC07 cross drilled rotors: http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TZS&Category_Code=PBC06 IF anyone has tried this let me know how you like...thanks bob
  25. One minute its at 6-7 pounds and then I pull over and look and its at 2-3. why is it doing that? I have the pump in the back and the regulator on the firewall. Feed in through the bottom of regulator and out the right side, left side blocked. from there into a fuel filter and then to a gauge then to the edelbrock 600. Does this sound right?
