I`ve always liked the Opel GT`s. I do like the body kit and flares, but like Tim said, It does ned some nicer/larger wheels to set it off. I could do without the gadgets, but if I were 17 again I might think it was cool.

If you have a good engine lift/cherry picker, I would recomend backing the trailer into the garage and lifting the clip off in there. Once it is in the air you can pull the trailer out from under it. When you get it where you want, put jackstands ner each corner.

Tim, What are you doing with the unused Q45 outer cv`s? If you still have them around, I might be interested in them. If you look in my personal gallery you will get an idea of what/how I`m doing my conversion. I`m working on aquiring a lathe, and wouldn`t mind having a few spares around for prototypes.

I think you could cut the stock sway bar mounts loose and weld new ones onto the frame ties. Obviously this would relocate the sway bar lower in the frint, but it would still function properly.

I didn`t have time to do the checks that I planned, but I did put a vacume gauge on it. I have 15 to 16 inHg with a very very slight fluctuation between the two. vacume is a little toward the low side but still within specs. The slight needle fluctuation suggests a fuel problem. The engine has a positive pressure egr valve on it that is difficult to diagnose for a vacume leak. A minor leak at the egr could also result in the low floating needle.

I`m going to check the map sensor and egr valve tonight. I do have a spare throttle body on the shelf. I might swap the injectors to see what happens.

I broke a balancer installer a few weeks ago. I just removed the balancer and reinstaled it, and it went on perfectly. It must have been the key binding. Mine was a stock balancer so I knew everything should line up.

I checked the resistance of the injector, and got 2.0 ohms. The manual calls for at least 1.2 ohms. Thanks for the input.

I`ve been working on a 93 pontiac lemans that has me baffled. It is sputtering through the exhaust, and sounds like it is missing on one cylinder. So far I have replaced the cap,rotor,plugs,wires,fuel filter,fuel pump and pickup screen.(basic normal tune up parts) I`m getting a lean O2 reading on the diagnostic,(hence the new fuel pump) but no other codes have shown up. I`m also getting a backfire through the intake under acceleration. it does sound very much like it is running out of fuel, but it has better than 1/2 a tank. I have checked compression, and all cylinders are within specs (159-175psi) I have even put air pressure to each cylinder,and turned the engine over by hand until the valves closed to be sure that I had no burnt valves. Any thoughts?

Mike, I`m running schoenfeld fenderwell headers. http://www.schoenfeldheaders.com/imca_mod.htm They have 1 3/4" primaries and 3 1/2" collectors running into 3 1/2" sidepipes. The pipes run along the rocker panel and don`t reduce ground clearance at all. I was planning to run some inserts from schoenfeld, but thanks to Grumpy`s link I have found a much better option. There are some pics in my album that will give you a little idea of what I`m doing.

My neighbors car was stolen last night. His second job is delivery for pizza hut. he had just gotten back from a delivery and was going inside to pick up three more deliveries. When he got back to where his car was parked, it was gone. I told him unless the guy wrecks it, they won`t find it in the state. His wallet with 200.00 was in it and he had a full tank of gas.
