  1. i bought a '72 240z this weekend - $800. interior is in great condition, and the car is complete. needs work though. quite a bit of it infact, but i guess if i really want a 240z, ill have to make due. they arent popular around here. worst case scenario, ill have to get a new unibody, since the unibody seems to the be the only thing that isn't in good/great condition.
  2. i agree with everything JSM has said. i will offer what i think it's worth. if the seller isnt willing to sell it for that, i move on. its my money, i will spend it how i please.
  3. great time for me not to have any money...ugh edit: its sold
  4. i agree. give the panel some shape, or get some different lights, like ones from a skyline or something. IMO, it looks too plain the way it is now.
  5. why did you opt for the more expensive carbon fiber ZGs over the fiberglass ones? just wondering, because i'm thinking about getting ZGs as well, but after looking at many pictures of fiberglass ZG's, it seems that the fit might be a little off. that seems to cause the top to sometimes flare out too much, which i think looks bad. also seems that the rear of the flare tapers inward too quickly, which i dont like either. however, of the pictures i've seen of carbonfiber ZGs, they look fine. maybe im being too picky or im seeing things, but thats something ive noticed.
  6. well, i forgot how my car goes together. yep, next 6-12 months are gonna be fuuunn. ill have more later, im just getting started.
  7. so if theyre in bad condition, theyre not really worth anything? ive got a black/gold 10th anniversary 280zx in bad condition that id like to get rid of, but didnt know if it was worthy of being sold as anything but a parts car. someone could probably fix it they really wanted to, but its pretty rusty...
  8. i wish my car had that little rust... lookin good though!
  9. that was the chrome bezel. i should have specified.
  10. on the inside of the cutout, and measuring from the back, the bottom section is almost 10" exactly. on the top section, its ~9 7/8" at the widest part, and ~9 3/8" at the narrowest part. hope that helps.
  11. when you sign up, theres a place where you can put who referred you to the site. so if my profile said i had 2 referrals, 2 people have put me down as the person who referred them here.
  12. looks nice! btw, are you on bimmerforums? your username looks familiar.
  13. i think youre referring to mine, and no, im cutting out the whole peice and welding in new metal.

  16. while its good to hear of another z being saved, i feel like its kind of a waste to use that car instead of a later 240z only to get the same result.
  17. incorrect. girls = money^2 money = evil^(1/2) money^2 = evil girls = money^2 = evil girls = evil
