  1. If I was in your position, I would probably just pay to ship the car. I'm in NJ, and I can't really find anything not eaten by rust anywhere reasonably close.
  2. On the tail lights, I **think** the bottom light stays off, and goes on with the turn signal, and the side markers like you said. Don't quote me on any of that though, I'm only going off memory from the one time I messed with the lights on my parents 280Z. I can check tomorrow if you don't get a definite answer by then.
  3. Cool idea! Can't help you with wiring, but if I were to do it, I'd probably wire them as running lights that blink brighter when the turn signals are on. I think they'd be useless as brake lights since they're on the side of the car.
  4. A rust free Z on in NJ... imagine that. Congrats! Looks clean.
  5. I have a 1953 Willys CJ3B. It's a bit rusty... My dad has a 1968 Charger R/T with a 426 Hemi swapped in. He also has a 1967 GMC truck (don't know what) with a Detroit Diesel swapped in. No pics of this one, but can take some if requested.
  6. I saw that too. I didn't see him do anything wrong (that I know of) so I'm not sure why he was banned.
  7. Thats a really early Z. I'd guess it was built sometime around 1/70. I'd be happy to take it off your hands if you don't want it
  8. Is that a crack free dash? I don't see any cracks in it... Good find!
  9. Do you have pictures of it from the side with those wheels on? Thanks
  10. Looks like you spoke too soon. Edit: I like my new title
  11. In these pics, it looks like the wheel well totally rusted out, but the dog lets/quarters were fine. I would expect the doglegs and quarters to go with it, which makes me think it may have been repaired before. I'd investigate that, since that would worry me. Who knows if they did it right or screwed it one and put bondo over it, or if they did anything at all. Otherwise it looks to be pretty clean. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2733584680063370706sUxJnQ http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2063230040063370706hWJfsp http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2091676290063370706MjazHn
  12. Seems like a really good deal for $1000. Also a series 1 which is a plus for me, although some people might not care. I wish I could find deals like that... I don't think you should part it out though, if you decide to go that route.
  13. Agreed. I have a *very* tight budget, as I have no job (still in High School and don't have time for a job). $20 is too much for me to just give away. $5 however is doable.
  14. For when I am allowed a custom user title, I'm claiming "Rust Addict" If you saw my Willys or 240Z, you'd find it suits me... lol.
  15. Hey, I wouldn't mind a custom user title either
  16. Is this the car you are looking for? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/645045/9
  17. mopar69's got changed too I wonder who's next?
  18. Just thought I'd throw this out there as well - E36 M3 suspension?
  19. man, i wish i could get deals like that.... good buy, congrats!
  20. I don't think it looks that bad or silly, but I would be concerned with it rubbing, since it looks like it definitely will.
  21. not just you, but i think thats an S30 thing. very nice work though. lol...forgot its RHD
