  1. http://www.studiotimecapsule.com/aluminum_fabrication Saw this, and just thought I'd pass it along. Very impressive work.
  2. It's not like they shot at it, trying to get it to explode like they did some other cars. Actually, doesn't really look like they beat on it at all.
  3. That's #153. Doesn't dsommer have #154? Strange coincidence.
  4. My suggestion would be to put the stock lights back. I have yet to see any kind of after market/custom lights look as good as the stock 240z lights.
  5. BRAAP, what size tires did you have? They're huge!
  6. Not a fan of circular tail lights, but I like how those came out. Funny, I thought up pretty much that idea (give or take) just a few days ago, and was wondering how it would look. Now I know!
  7. Lets see. I won't count anything from my 280z though since that's not really "spare." 1 L28 + 5spd 1 broken L24 + 4spd 2 R200s 1 R180 1 complete 240z front + rear suspension 1 240z dash + guages 2 240z seats The majority of 1 240z interior 2 spare tires - 1 from a ZX, 1 from a 240z 10 assorted styles of wheels 2 front fenders 2 240z doors 1 240z hatch 1 crack free 240z center console 1 4spd from a 280z 1 hood 1 extremely rusty 240z shell (looking for replacement currently) 1 fairly rusty 280ZX 10th anniversary (anyone want it?) I think that's it. I probably missed quite a few items though, since the 240z was pretty much complete when I got it, but I have since decided it's too rusty to do anything with. Makes mull's 240z look like it was in good condition.... The ZX was pretty much complete as well, but I have no use for a lot of the items on that car.
  8. I still listen to the radio. There's some decent stations here. Not to mention, satellite radio isn't free, and there's no way I'm paying for radio.
  9. I got 18ga sheet to replace my floors.
  10. The series 1 240Z was produced from 10/69 to 1/71, if I remember correctly. All series 1 240z's had both the hatch vents and "240z" quarter panel emblems, where the vents on later Z's were. On another note, it's hard to believe that the black car used to be in such poor condition. Good work!
  11. Stunning. The headlights are a nice touch.
  12. The engine looks great. Clean, but not over done. Looks like it's too late, but just a suggestion I thought I'd throw out there. I normally don't like custom tail light panels, since, in my opinion, they lack shape and are a bit bland. So I was thinking, how would it look if you bought two 240z tail light surrounds, welded them to the car, ground them flush, etc., and welded in a flat piece of sheet in the opening, and mounted your lights there? The wheels may grow on me. I'll need to see the car done.
  13. LOL@ the last few posts Looks like you have a new title too
  14. speedgato, more pics of the white Z please!!
  15. While on vacation I went to a car show. I took in excess of 450 pictures, but a lot of them need to be editing for one reason or another. These are the first 50 I came across that didn't need editing. BTW, I am NOT a good photographer. I just take pictures of things I like and hope for the best. Enjoy.
