  1. Looking bad Phil, Loks like you did a great job of fitting them. Did you cut the metal arch out?
  2. I had a noise like that, adjusted the valves...made no change. I think it was down to camshaft journals, might be worth checking.
  3. Here is a clip of mine, nismo header 6 -2-1...2.5" all the way back to a single silencer.
  4. I had a fiero with a 308 kit, looked great, drove like crap! http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=13911&size=big&cat=704

Thanks guys, The wheels are made by Superlite here in the UK, whatever you do, don't by fom them. I've had all sorts of problems getting them to replace them as the first set I had were all different offsets. Image wheels here in the UK sell a similar wheel. Sizes are 17x9 -13mm offset front 225/45/17 tyre. 17x9.5" -19mm offset rear with 255/40/17's
  6. thanks! I resemble that remark
  7. Yes you're right I think AR were part of Garret...probably still are. I read somewhere that any core over 3.5" is too thick because the air stalls going through the core....on the other hand surely AR knew what they were doing when they did "research"
  8. I recently bought this AiReasearch intercooler. It has a vertical core. 13" long 7" deep by 7" high. Part numbers AiResearch 469760-1 charge air cooler. industrial division does anyone know anything about this type of cooler. I've been told it was used on Zakspeed capri's in the 80's
  9. Tha dark bit on the paint looks like the reflection of the person taking the picture. Car looks fantastic! great job
  10. pulled it apart, no carbon....looks like new in there...no play in any direction
  11. Doesn't look good, I'm gonna take a look at my new Holset now
  12. so I found another intercooler with same side in and out. the dimensions are 13" wide 7" high and 7" deep. vertical core. this gives a massive charge face area.....is this too big?
  13. Does the megaview for the MS1 also work on the MS2?
  14. Sounds good! is there a megaview available for the MSII ? I canj't see one on the diyautotune page
  15. Got my Spec clutch and light weight flywheel today. 515ft/lb rated so I should be good for a while. Talk to David Norton from Spec direct, he will sort you a good price
  16. True, I lived not too far from you in a town called Media...was a nice place to live.
  17. Here is the reply from the seller, I am impressed, for once an honest ebay seller. Hi I have spoken to our supplier and they tell me the CFM on these intercoolers is 450cfm. Therefore you are correct our listing is incorrect and we will change it to suit. If you do not want the intercooler we will arrange for it to be collected and refund you fully by PayPal, Please let us know the collection address and a time morning/afternoon that collection is available. We apologise for the inconvenience Regards Ollie THS
  18. Nice vid, I worked in Allentown once, in the winter....man it was cold!!!
  19. Right Ok, it's pretty poor that they advertise it as 650bhp. I have found one similar to the one on the red Z shown in this thread. Is this good? http://www.xs-power.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=46&products_id=268
  20. The chart that bell is on about is for face area not core area so 18" is face area = 240 bhp ish...right?
  21. http://www.thsparts.co.uk/ here is the webpage
  22. well I did pay through paypal and if the item is not as described I can ask for a refund, I'm a little annoyed about this as this guys has a company selling these things I assumed he knew what he was talking about. Anyway thanks for your help, I'll let you know if I get my money back. Short tubes and lots of them is the name of the game then! hopefully this thread will help others in my position
