  1. Matt, What parts are you using? Specs? I'm still looking into the front brake solution..... What calipers? What rotor? Do your calipers bolt up without adapters? Tim
  2. HA HA LOL, LMAO....did you see his license plate "Civic Style".......I guess style is in the eye of the beholder......
  3. Maybe take a trip to the parts store and get some nice thick gasket material, and a tube of hylamar. That should sort it out. Tim
  4. http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes_zcar.html What will the advantages be over this kit? Thicker rotor? The above kit is bolt on, I don't think any adapter is required for the calipers. The less parts needed, the better, especially with something as crutial as brakes. Tim
  5. It's one step closer to full regulation!!
  6. That's shocking news Mike. Hope you get everything sorted out. Tim
  7. Hmmm... I use that feature exclusively. I don't think it has ever given me a problem. You do have to be logged in. Tim
  8. Try JD Corvettes here in CA. (562) 804-5205
  9. I have the same one. I got some adapters from Earls. Nice anodized blue (two piece). Jegs or Summit should have them. I got them Directly from Earls (5 miles away) Tim
  10. Ha HA LMAO..... I bet she would too!! Hell, my wife doesn't know the difference between a spark plug and a dipstick!! Comes in handy though, when parts arrive in the mail, I say " Oh, that's just a _ _ _ _ _, only costs 10 bucks." She was a little suspicious when I pulled up with the LT1/T56 in the back of the truck!!! Tim
  11. Shouldn't make any difference whether in the air or on the ground. Check your shocks anyway, just because thy're new, doesn't mean that they are still good, esp. from KYB. Tim
  12. CA guys....get on this one!! See here for some info: http://www.californiacarclubs.com/ Here is an excerpt: This bill was introduced by Senator Dean Flores, who drives a 12 mpg GMC Denali. (Senator Dean Florez is from District 16.) Please write, phone, fax and email your local assemblyman (woman) and State Senator to lodge your protest against this bill; if we do nothing, we all lose! Even though Governor Davis is a worthless toad, include him in your protest . . . after all, he is the person who will sign it into law! Tim
  13. Dave....U da Man!!!! I searched all over John's site and didn't see these!! Tim
  14. Adam, Unless you have a set of Mike's rear control arms, the rear has no adjustment. That tire wear may be a relick from the old struts. Once the pattern starts, it will usually not go away, even after the source of the problem is fixed. You can go to a shop and have the rear checked, but I doubt that it's the alignment if the wear is the wavvy/cupping type wear. Make sure that all the bolts and bushings are nice and tight back there. Tim
  15. Dan, U blow the donkey man!!! The suspense is killing me!!!!!!! Is it a full body kit, or just a single piece? Interioir or exterior!!! Come on man.....inquiring minds NEED to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tim
  16. Adam, Cupping is usually caused by worn shocks (or strut inserts in our case). If the tires are feathered, then it's alignment (toe). Tim
  17. WOW, that's miles off!! Cut the tube and weld in an appropriate length. Tim
  18. This is Tim, Mudge's Evil Twin!! Try this: http://www.theherd.com/articles/lt1_cool.html http://home.earthlink.net/~onealk/capricess/tech/lt1_cool.html http://www.h-body.org/people/projects/building_lt1/lt1%20info.html http://www.automotiverebuilder.com/ar/ar99928.htm Tim
  19. BTW, I painted mine with an adhesion product (called BullDog from PEP Boys), then with Bumper Black aerosol. It's held up very well so far. Tim
  20. It's the "Pantera Hatch" that used to be offered by Arizona Z. They are no longer in the fiberglass business, so they are no longer available. http://www.arizonazcar.com/ Tim
  21. I believe Victoria British has that same air dam. Tim
  22. Ya know....Z cars are just plain cool!!! There is no disputing that!!! Tim
  23. Mike, The diff's 'snout' is by design offset to the pass. side. The rear studs are centered on the mustache bar, which puts the front mount ears offset to the pass. side. Tim
  24. You will be on your own with motor mounting plans. Nothing in the JTR stock room will work. Do a search on the Ford forum and you'll find some info. Tim
