  1. Do a search on this diff mount. It uses a TH350 / 400 polyurethane diff mount on it, hung from the top of the diff. You don't even have to use a oem diff mount with the RT mod.....
  2. Here is pics of my 89 GT-R R200 CLSD I will install some day.... click Here is a pic showing the larger diff output side shafts the GT-R R200 uses compared to the regular R200 shafts
  3. Yep.... thats the pinion flange I also have on my R200 CLSD GT-R diff. I haven't tried to use it yet, so can't answer your question, except to say I've read some where that a regular pinion flange is avail to fit it. Where to buy it, I'd have to try and find that info again. EDIT: found the pic of the replacment pinion flange needed for the R230, I'm sure this will also work on the GT-R R200 > Or, I suppose that OEM pinion flange could be used, if you were to get the matching drive shaft flange off the GT-R D/S and have it put on your drive shaft??
  4. I also ended up building/ welding a 1x1 frame to sit the cell into. I used the tabs on the alum cell by using long carriage bolts with washers and nuts to support the cell.
  5. All those are missing the important part.... the projector. They are crap with out a quality projector!
  6. I think the real weak link now is with the input side shafts.... There are many reported input shaft failures, on the R200, and even the R230 (shown here) read here; http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=171982 j.
  7. The seller, Jeff Tao, @ RBMotoring, told me it was for the 4 wheels shown in the pics in the auction....
  8. Looks just like the adj. cam gear I had on my L6, made by Malvern Racing...
  9. I don't think so. Click on the "Bid" tab, as though your were placing a bid, it states "rims" there....
  10. WOWZA!! Awesome looking ZX. Perfect choice of paint / wheels....
  11. Also; It helps to spread the rubber back tight. I left mine out at first and had leaks due to the rubber not fitting tight. Then had it installed, and it solved the leaking.
  12. I knew my measly $5,000 wouldn't meet the reserve. I just help jump start it. I always wait till the last few seconds to bid when I really want it (esnipe).
  13. Mine hung like this, fully assembled, for months..... I use left over L6 crank main cap bolts to bolt the block to the engine stand. They are just the right length/pitch. click
  14. Sorry, basically what I meant is you need to fab up a new front diff mount/ cradle, to support/ mount the shorter diff. You would also need to address the huge drive shaft/ pinion flange that comes on that diff...
  15. I have a R32 GT-R rear diff and half shafts. They are the 6 bolt evenly spaced half shafts on the inboard end, and the splined stub axle on the outer end. I have removed the diff stub shafts and compared them to a regular long nose R200's diff stub shafts, and they are different spline count (smaller). So, to be able to use the R200 CLSD carrier out of the short nose GT-R diff, you must use the diff stub shafts that come with it, or find a pair of larger spline count diff stubs from another LSD (maybe VLSD stubs?) The easy way to use the R32 GT-R short nose CLSD is to make a diff nose mount to accept the short nose diff, then do the modern motor sport R230 axles (since they are for the 6 evenly spaced bolt pattern, same as R32 GT-R short nose CLSD). Now, do I have you nice and confused....
  16. I guarantee I'd make twice my money back if I would have won it for that price.
  17. Hey *******...... I think they are the same
  18. Wow!! that car sold for $1,200 + - ....... Crap, I'd have bid if I knew it would go that cheap.
  19. Hey Mike, I see what your talking about, but after blowing up some of those not so clear pics, I noticed alot of rust colored spray foam in those areas. I'm not saying all the apparent rust is the foam, but alot of it is. If I were interested, I think I'd request some better close up pics of the usual areas... Whata you think?
