  1. Here is a set for sale at a lower price than I paid. These are worth this price for sure.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7978571484&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  2. Look at the side vents, its a series 1 (unless he filled in the hole)...
  3. Matt, I have a good question for ya.... While James was over fri. and we were discussing what to do on a oil pan, we got to looking at the new oil pump I will be changing out from the new nissan pump I have on the motor now, and found that on the uprated pump, it comes with the oil passages tapped and plugged with alum hex head plugs, allowing for external access to the oiling system. I noticed that these passages have a freeze plug in the regular oem oil pumps, instead of hex head removable plugs.... Have you seen these before? We think this will make installing a alum pan, with a pick up made to lay on the bottom of the pan, with baffling of course, and a fitting to come out the side of the pan, to connect to the tapped fitting off the side of the oil pump, a peice of cake. I realize the matching hole in the block, that runs to the oem pick up tube will have to be blocked off now that the oil is being pulled from the new external line. Does this make any sense to you?? thanks- joel
  4. I will try and make it outside tomorrow for a pic Matt, I've been flat on my back for a while now, due to ilness, but I hope to poke around my newly returned rb26 transplant for a short while tomorrow.... I'm only 6' tall, so this should work for you Sparks j.
  5. If I remember right, of the four threaded studs on the seat rails that came on the seats, only one will line up with the oem holes in the floorboard. I think what I did was (on driver seat) use the foward right side threaded stud, toward the consol, and let that one fall in the oem hole in the floor raised rail, then I pushed downward HARD as I kinda used the other three threaded studs to scratch the paint off where they needed the new three holes drilled.... Once I removed the seat back out of the car, I drill three new holes, then put her back in the new holes, plus the one already drilled from the factory seats, and moved on to the other seat.... It was really too easy for me.... If you use the left foward oem hole (on driver seat) in the begining, it may put them to close to the door jam to shut. Thats how it looked to me, but I didn't try them that way... who knows, they may fit that way also. As far as adjustabilty, mine go all the way back, and close enough to the front where I think you will be ok with my way I chose to install them. good luck to ya... joel
  6. Nah on that ebay deal... Any R32 motor set that needs a quart of clearcoat sprayed on it to try and sell, I'll stay away from....
  7. That sounds about right for the oem ones. What I did was went online and ended up getting them form Advanced Auto Parts (if I remember right) for a lot less than oem price' date=' and they worked fine on my car... http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=1475&cat=500&page=1
  8. I think I'm the only one in that group buy that only had to send the part back to them only once for fixin.... After I got it back, everything fit fine and was used with great results in my book, until I sold the whole power train in favor of my rb26 swap.

    Thanks Rick.....
  10. In the first pic showing the six holes, those are the same 280zxt outers, with two different style end caps applied on them. I got ahold of both kinds myself from a axle guy once... same part, one uses a shorter return spring, thats all... As far as the inboard stubs, I will go with what was sugested in the post above (as I know one is longer on one side than the other on my R200 )
