  1. That's a friend right there.
  2. From my Father: Given a 50/50 chance, 100% of the time you're wrong. The sooner you accept that there will always be someone bigger, faster, and more expensive than you, the faster you can enjoy what you're doing. Never be too good to learn from someone. Odds are you're going to learn from them anyways, but learning by choice is a whole lot less painful than learning by force.
  3. Except whenever a Japanese engine is decent, someone decides to call it 'legendary' (to which I'm not even sure how that works) and then it's as expensive or more expensive than any euro motor.
  4. Cool. Thanks Bud.

  6. 503-207-0299 Is a portland singles number, google told me so.
  7. Reading your first post: A 62-1 turbo isn't exactly huge, but it is sizable. And depending on how it's setup, I could see that spool. Plumbing for turbo's, IMO has a pretty massive effect on how the thing runs. Then again, having a spool over 3500 does have its own set of benefits, like getting through town off boost and saving mileage...
  8. Define "big" turbo. Specs please?
  9. lol @ guy on fire... Digg and youtube comments are where braincells go to die.
  10. You may just regret that come next weekend.
  11. RTz shot down the last satellite that tried to target his position
  12. That would involve searcing. You know this forum's reputation for that...
  13. I've actually started counseling by all the people with big red names. It's either a wonderful idea or a horrible, horrible idea.
  14. Keratin is the protein that gives pretty much every exterior coating strength (hair, nails, skin, etc.) but it's highest concentration is in nails, then hair. If it's in too high of quantities in skin it's called ichthoyosis and if it gets too high it actually causes the skin to become hard and crack (in the case of harlequin ichthoyosis... don't google image that just trust me)
  15. I'm pretty sure there's a fantastic reason nobody has made a tire that has multiple diameters contacting and transferring power at the same time, but I'm going to shut up and wait until JohnC keeps me from talking out of my back side. Edit: I feel that having a tire with two different radii like that would put HUGE stress on suspension components.
  16. Truth, iirc Einstein presented some pretty solid guesses as to what it can do, but as far as I know, the current state of astrophysics/quantum physics is not to the point yet of being able to test their ideas. Though nature has kind of replicated a situation where it could be tested: the event horizon of black holes. Which is why so much funding gets dumped into that field every year.
  17. Except dead cells that you naturally produce are a major portion of your immune system. If your cells never died you'd lose the majority of your immune response, especially since killing infected cells and dead skin cells are your first defense in immune response. Even assuming no metabolic degradation, the only cells that can infinitely replicate (in theory) are cancer cells. So, you'd just be a big tumor. Or your cells would never grow and you'd waste away in just a few short months.
  18. Yep there are two square flanges for the R200. The 280ZXT T5 cars had a slightly different flange than the cars fitted with R200's and 71B transmissions.
  19. Not true caffiene, but a caffiene homologue. It also contains the same endorphins that are released upon baby making, but in the quantities that are in chocolate, they're fully metabolized before you get any fun effects.
  20. You want the 71B flange not the T5 flange right? I think I have one...or two...
  21. Rumor has it that BMW is going to a turbo V8 for the next group of big M's to bear the roundel.
