  1. I'll be seeing Greg the following week in Southern Cal for the MSA show. So don't beat him up too much at the swap meet! LOL Great RB conversion and very clean...mucho respect! Cambridge was close to my old stomping ground! Awesome! Yasin
  2. Really enjoyed that vid...thanks for posting.. Yasin
  3. That convertible S11 200SX is way too exotic to be a daily driver. The soggy weather and winters in PA will have that thing rusted in no time, not too mention the convetible fitting poorly and needing to be re-done. NOT a practical car, but VERY cool none the less. I would love to have it as a SR20 candidate. Devil-Z - beautiful S11...daddy likey...love the coilovers in the rear! Yasin
  4. Hi Gang - Thanks for all the replies and compliments! To be fair to the photgrapher, we were running out of daylight and he wanted to get some good shots of the car as the sun was going down and we had to be close to the warehouse where the BMWs are kept for the "art-sy" industrial look. So the choices were not the best for that typical industrial background look. He realized that as well, which is why another shoot is planned for Spring with actual scantily clad models and more time to plan things out. The car looks good, and I thank you again for your compliments. I am a true Datsun guy at heart (I should be seeing that I own three of them!) but air cooled 911s run VERY deep in my veins, as many of you can relate. Gabe - The car weighs the same as my ZX Turbo (2900lbs) and it has incredible acceleration and throttle response! jgkurz - My car was laggy and felt a little lethargic, which is why after one week of ownership I had to upgrade the turbo, exhuast, headerts etc etc. The car is a rocket now but at the same time is docile to drive around town. In the garage, shot, the car to left of mine is an actual covetted M1 and belongs to a good friend of mine who owns the largest private BMW collection in the US, there are a few bad boys in there, I wish were mine! LOL Thanks again! Regards - Yasin
  5. Holy crapcakes....love it...glad you will be introducing those C5s to a new lovel of humble pie! Yasin
  6. Looks awesome! Your car has a great appeal about it! Love it! Yasin
  7. Wow....! Not sure what to say....I cannot imagine the fabrication. Yasin
  8. Really tough lesson to learn...ouch! Yasin
  9. I cannot imagine the programming required for that type of CAD-CAM CNC...WOW...and how and when do they (know to) change the bits? I have done some basic CAD CAM CNC, so this blows me away. Amazing. Yasin
  10. Had my ole 911 Turbo professionally photographed and thought I would share the pics. The photographer does alot of architecture but has a passion for sexxy cars, his website is http://www.willyoungphotgraphy.com The car is an '89 (which is the last year for the 930) and the paint is all 100% original. The pics were not (digitally) touched up at all. The car has over 56K on it, so its not exactly a garage queen either. The 3/4 bay intercooler was designed by myself, the car is making 420hp at 1bar of boost, all work on this car has been done by myself at home (turbo upgrades, custom headers, lowering, interior upgrades etc etc). We went for an industrial look in the pics hence all the crap in the background. Its a pity the pics were taken BEFORE I powder coated the fan and housing...oh well..timing. Enjoy! Good news is that this spring we are going to do another photoshoot with a few more exotic cars but have beautiful leggy creatures posing next to the cars! Engine shot after the powder coating taken with my cheap digital camera: Regards - Yasin
  11. It has been 60-70 here in Colorado Springs all week then ka-bloooey! Yesterday...admittingly quite pretty and a walk around the neighborhood with the camera was fun This pain is ruining my clear coat! Damn! Yasin
  12. Go to Dave's site and set your mind free.... http://www.arizonazcar.com Yasin
  13. The only WRX STi with any credibility....GC8...with a 22B please! Yasin
  14. Totally awesome...any newer pic you can share! Beautiful work and congrats, looks like you have been VERY busy over the past few years - to say the very least. I love this pic as I spy an AE86 and a R31 in the background. Yasin
  15. Looks great Terry! How are you long will you be in Japan? Yasin
  16. I built my own for my '83 Turbo.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=93737&highlight=coilover+280zx Yasin
  17. I am enjoying reading the content on this thread....subscribing. Yasin
  18. Austin - Did Tunerzine contact Turbo to run the feature? As I see Turbo used their photgraphs. Just wondering how Turbo got a hold of you and the car? Yasin
  19. I am guessing you are hinting on a feature on your car Austin? If so....congrats...I'll be picking up mine too! Yasin
  20. Very nice Coupe John...love AE86s they run forever deep in my veins!!! Here is my old whip - 20V Turbo, Greddy eManage, Supra rear end, Supra W55 tranny, Corky Bell Front Mount Intrcooler you name it, carbon fiber all over...2180lbs..270hp at the dyno....: Yasin
  21. Thanks for all the responses guys! I do remember Austin's thread, and TonyD had the best laid out reply to his situation. Seems like we are 50/50 on whether to pursue or not...? I will drop TimZ a line. Regards - Yasin
  22. John - Interesting that you are building a 4AGZE turbo. I sold my 20V 4AGE Turbo a few years ago....lets say that 400whp is obtainable with a stock bottom end. Yasin
  23. Gang - What are your thoughts on this? My engine builder is leaning towards this way, as I will be running 20ish psi of boost and its turning out to be a pretty stout build. The piston tops and skirts are all being coated. Thanks - Yasin
  24. Yup..that was me with the thread of the Cosmo in the forest! Your friend's Cosmo is absolutely stunning...wow..the nicest I have ever seen. Shame it has to go. Yasin
