  1. Looks fun! That is definitely a be careful road. No mistakes and little slidding, but fun none the less.
  2. Darren, I'd pass on it if you don't know what it is from. You could end up w/a $50.00 paper weight.

I was wondering if he was fired! Ah... boss... I've got a little bit of a problem and may be late making it back to the shop.....Cough... Cough... Could you imagine the insurance claim on that! Wow!
  4. For kicks, pull the tranny off first, then see if it is still frozen. I'm assuming you'll change it over to Stick? Your not working on it there are you?

    Fast CGI errror?

Is this on this host server ???? http://wiki.dreamhost.com/FastCGI FastCGI is a way to have CGI scripts execute time-consuming code (like opening a database) only once, rather than every time the script is loaded. To use FastCGI you will need to: Enable it in the control panel under Domains -> Manage Domains -> Web Hosting -> Edit. Make some minor changes to your scripts (detailed below). Name your script with an .fcgi extension, or add the line "SetHandler fastcgi-script" to your .htaccess file. (One user says editing .htaccess this way might cause problems depending upon where you put your files.) In technical terms, FastCGI is a language independent, scalable, open extension to CGI that provides high performance without the limitations of server specific APIs. fastcgi.com, fastcgi.com FAQ.
  6. Were you listening to Neal Boortz Today?! I just saw that a little bit ago. I wonder if the end is Photo chopped.
  7. Realistically, you should probably pull the motor out and rebuild if it is seized. You likely going to need to anyway even if you get it unseized. However, try this and see what happens. I would get a good 27 mm socket and put it on crankbolt underneeth the fan. Get a big breaker bar with maybe a 3-4 foot pipe and see if you can get it to turn over. It may be easier to remove the fan all together to get at the bolt or decent extension. I always seem to cut or scrape myself on that thing! It is possible the auto tranny is seized too. 20 years is a long time. Your other questions you should read up on to answer. (Search)
  8. I'm trying to get an estimate on the shipping cost. Any ideas, convential or not, that would be accurate without buying a heavy duty scale? Should I tool down to my local Shipping company (Estes, Yellow, etc.) and just ask to use their scale?
  9. Anyone else getting intermitent issues w/ this error? I switched to a different PC and it's a little better but not much. Sometimes the screen will go blank and just have the error listed. Where the adds are also it says Page cannot be displayed.
  10. Did you do crated or just palleted? Was yours going to CA also?
  11. Steve, let me know if you figure this out. I'm trying to ship a motor to CA myself. I know the classes are different for a crated motor vs. none, but I'm not sure the difference on the price. This is what I'm trying to ship: Block & head (all Internals), valve cover, pan, and Waterpump only. No flywheel or anything else. I guessed a standard pallet at 40x48 @ 450 LBS. Terminal to Terminal was 375 ish from Orlando to LA, CA. I'm sure I can make the pallet smaller, but the weight is my question also. This is who I used, per another memeber, for my quote. They try and find the best rate for you. Gina Thone Diversified Transportation Services phone# 800-686-3871 ext 223 website: www.dtsone.com
  12. Nice that was on Craigslist not to long ago?
  13. Likely just injectors your hear. Do you only hear it when your standing next to the running motor or when your in the car? I'd recommend changing all your hoses. Recent purchase on the car?
  14. I just did it again and it did not find Exact Phrase search in the title only in the body. I know because last time I tried it didn't find it and I used quotes. Using quotes should return two hits in my opinion, one in for the title and one in the body of the thread. 1. Search 2. "Exact Phrase search" 3. Select the Google Radio button 4. When results come up, click the Search Hybridz.org only 5. Result is only one hit.
  15. Looks very nice! I had the ENTIRE day to myself yesterday. What a treat. No kids, no wife, just me and the garage. The TV and Internet are so overrated when you have a garage and a toy to play with! Edit: Scary, and this was post 666 for me! Ouch!
  16. Could be or it could also be the hose going to the Throttle body to warm it up. Move some hoses around and see if anything sprays.
  17. That was my whole premiss around doing the swap. Who want's timing belts yuck! But I'm just weird that way.
  18. Does anyone have any pics after they crated their engine to the pallet? Also, was their a difference in price if it was crated vs. not?
