Sounds fine I guess, but what are you trying to acheive? Nothing against Arizona Z cars, but why not SU's? On the LSD, if you jack the car up both tires spin the same direction. If you see it in the car it has the finned cover. If not take the cover off to verify. Make sure it is out of gear and no e-brake is on.

Yes old thread I know. Anyway, attempted to remove some 280 companion flanges and stubs today at the junk yard. It was too expensive to buy the suspension arm and strut. It was like 100 for both sides and I don't need all those parts, nor did I want them. Anyways tryed to roll back the penned part. Nope runned the threads. Tryed to get the companion flanges off. Nope bent them. If you really need them and can't find them buy the whole assembly and take them home. It was a first class biotch to try and get these off in the hot FL sun. It would have helped having the correct slide pull. I don't see how anyone could use a hammer and punch the center w/ it on the car. Just so little room. Off of the car sure.

It was a very Nice yellow TT w/ body kit, BBS rims and such. Looked very clean. I zoomed in on the tag and it looked like NJ Plates. Never did get a response to my email. Funny did a Zaba Search on her name w/ no results either: www.zabasearch.com

Going back to the original thread, I just dont see it. I understand the slightly large outside diam on the splines, but how many fail like the picture below? Do most fail in this area or also in the other areas shown in the thread?

Curious? Now that it is gone was it worth it? If you had to do it again would you have? You said the machine shop was the life support, was there ongoing issues with the build or was it fairly bullet proof once compleed?

I was reading through the sticky at the top: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=114798 Jon said about the stub axles, "280 stub axles can be installed in 240 struts with no modifications and the wheel bearings and seals are the same in both cases. This upgrades the inner part of the shaft from 25 to 27 spline." If the diameter of the 240 and 280 are the same and only the spline count is different, how does having more splines generate more strength?

Your modifying your existing 77 harness or using a Zxt harness? If zxt harness find a zxt distributor.
