  1. Very nice. You could probably get some interest in a group by for something like this and maybe make a few bucks on the side.
  2. Oh, you guys are talking the ratcheting type. I was thinking you were all talking true pallet straps.
  3. Rope was mainly so I can move it around at an angle w/ my dolly and if for some reason if the shipping truck hit a bump and it shifted some. Rope has held very well moving it around the garage.
  4. Thanks Man! Now let's see Pics when it's done.
  5. Good, bad, should be okay? I'm hoping because it is wrapped in sulifane that it will be noted as crated? Thanks!
  6. You never said that she has said anything yet? Just a little pisse? I would present her with what you see and feel, and then present her with your solution. Then your can set it up your way from the beginning. Be prepared for a counter offer from her though.
  7. That's much prettier than mine today! Eat up!
  8. Hmmm... I would just be carefull. You don't want to get busted for stealing power if each garage doesn't have it's own meter. If each garage does, have at it!
  9. I thought you could do something like that. I would run by Home Depot or Lowes and ask one of their electricians though. Is your dryer gas or electric? Is it even in the garage? Depending how far your garage is from 220v outlet you could make a long extension cord, but I think that is going to cost $$$ for the wire. http://www.doityourself.com/stry/qnaelectrical10 http://www.spadepot.com/spacyclopedia/wiring-hot-tub-spa.htm
  10. Yep, everything David said. Be safe, be smart, but have a great day!
  11. I think you need to listen to the advice given from the owner and others. Get another engine!
  12. I guess my opinion is, if you have enough money to have cars like those, a garage than nice, why skimp on a lift? I'd like to see the rest of the garage. That looks to be an add on where the cars are parked. Notice how the roof line goes up. Maybe there is a nice 4 post up front? Either way, I agree, not worth the risk.
  13. I better count my blessings then. I've had great success at my local JY. I go almost every week now. I do hate the core charge and environment charges things though. What's crazy is they pay 2.50 per hundered or less now. So 3000 LB car cost them $75.00. Not a bad investement on their part at all!
  14. I was looking at a car for sale with it installed. The car ran very well and was an L28T. 22PSI and hold on!
  15. I drink too much in general. Only when I get home from work I "try" and keep it to 2-3 drinks, but sometimes that leads to more. I didn't start drinking really until I was in my early 30's. The bad part to me is the cost and driking to much at one time. I don't think a couple of glasses of wine at night is really all that bad. I would say I'm addicted though. I look forward to relieving the edge each night. I really started up more when work was really tough. I don't think my family really new the stress I was under. I don't beat my wife or kids and I'm not a mean drunk. I think I may be bi-polar though. Supposedly us mentally screwed up folks use alchohol to even ourselves out emotionally. On a side note, last Thursday we played night golf and got completely hammered! It was a blast. Other than losing my cell phone after falling in a sandtrap and having to go find it the next day way hung over. I did find it though.
  16. You mean there were legs in that photo? Hmmm... I'll have to go back and check, but for sure PINK!
  17. Rats, almost double the price Advance was $38.XX and Autozone was 18.99.
