I think i still have mines i have to check. When i put the radiator out of the fairlady i had to take it out because it stuck down to low. I might be in my shed. Its raining "tons of rain" as the weather channel says so when it clears a bit i can check.

I am looking for a low mile 7mgte. With or without trans. Must have uncut harness,all injectors,maf,turbo + manifold, all the line + hoses, accessories are optional. Looking to spend near 500 or so.. I know this should be in the paint thread but its not anything technical about it. So there it being non tech. I got bored for the last 3 days and we had rustoleum on sale at work for 2.25$ a can from its 5.97$ a can. So i bought all 7 cans of Metallic Sage and began wetsanding and repairing my repairs. Took me all of 2 days. And around 30$'ish bux. Yes the Wheels be black But idk. I think it cam out pretty good considering what it looked like before let me know what you guys think. Its dirty in some spots because i cant really clean the black off from wet sanding the roof until tomorrow. But here are 2 pics i took. So there going to ban black paint i suppose.

Me and some friends unbolted the trans dragged it out the side then unbolted the motor, lifted off the mounts, slide it back in the tranny tunnel area, turned it on its side and drug it out. Took about 1hr most of it was BS'n around.

Thought id show how low my friends is. The drop was achieved by extreme boredom. He took the springs out because he "wondered" how it would look. There is no motor/trans in the car.

I'm 19. Got the 73' 240z when i was 17. I got it because it was 100$ and i knew that it was something that i would like working on and driving everyday. Pre-smog, light, rwd, good mpg, cheap parts, great z community(well some), very easy to work on, and mines is down right sexy.

From what i seen the 2+2 doors are longer.

240z's did not come with 5 speeds. They came with automatics and 4 speeds. 280z's and 280zx's came with 5 speeds mabey late 260z's I'm not sure. Anyhow i see 5spd go anywhere for 20$-120$ depending on condition and if the seller feels its worth.

This is the 73 240. Forgot to say not the fairlady. I forget i have 2 z's. I should have posted yesterday but i was doing everything i could before i got tired. I found out what it was and i get power only when i put a jumper wire on the volt guage. I have to connect the large solid white wire and the large red/white stripped wire. Then everything works. The honda wiper motor runs in reverse but i think i mounted it the wrong way, [not sure] or i have a wire going to the wrong way. Im going to go work on that right now. i will try and post another video of what im talking about. I almost set the set on fire.. I dont want to talk about that. But this the only way i get power to anything. I dont know if i can run it like this so im not going to make it a permanent.

I am to tired to really write up whats wrong but i will say that i have no power to any of the main things in the z. All i have working is the horn, and hazards. There are 2 blocks on the fuse box that have power thats it. Anyone know what it could be. I did switch dash harness but i made sure everything was the same. Im going out tomorrow with my test light again and going through all the hot wires until i find a break somewhere.
