  1. Nicely done! How easily removable will that be?
  2. I didn't think z31 suspension was better than s130. Same basic design but without coil over struts.
  3. just the crank pulley. Stupid question but was it in neutral? Perhaps loosen off the belts too.
  4. bah, forgot about this thread. I'll send him an email today
  5. My car had a pretty good squeak shortly after I got it. It sounded metalic so I started replacing tensioner pulleys. That didn't do so i tried hosing down the power steering belt (the only one I could reach) with belt dressing, which would work for a few minutes and then it would come back. Finally I discovered the alternator belt was extremely loose, so I tightened it up and was good to go.
  6. I just started from scratch on mine. I attached a new constant 12V to the battery terminal. Found an existing chassis ground and added another ring terminal to it. The grounded the negative end of my multimeter, and began unplugging connectors one at a time under the dash. I'd test each pin for 12 volts with the key, and accessory, and then off, to see which wire to take the accessory signal from. I then T'd off a wire into it. And let me add, I know very little about wiring, and I didn't find this job too difficult.
  7. Last time I talked to mike he said he's selling the american racing's as shown in the first pic.
  8. got a tank and sending unit way up here. Sending unit's from an analog dash car, so I imagine its different.
  9. Yeah i'm aware they cause rust by trapping moisture, but I'm not too worried about that on such a thick cast part. Also the speed shop I bought it from sold me a high temp silicon spray to use on the manifold before wrapping. Not sure if it will prevent corrosion or not.
  10. Hmm, i just wrapped my turbo manifold. Heard it can be a problem on tubular ones, but i was told it shouldn't be a problem with cast.
  11. at very least its a good way to hide those crumbly rustyness of those panels caused by the oem scissor jack.
  12. Yeah. Did you just photoshop out the camera boom in your pics?
  13. Its not hard to slip the belt over the fan one blade at a time. Don't even have to touch the shroud.
  14. I think I have all those parts for sale too.... I kinda wanted to sell the front x-member, power steering pump, rack and lines as a conversion kit for someone wanting to get rid of there rack and pinion, but we'll see.
  15. bingo. Might by handy to note which belt came from which groove on the crank pulley too.
  16. They all had a r200. I think just 2+2's had the 3.90
  17. I'll maybe send mike an email about it later today. I want to know where to find those rear valences too.
  18. That was my turbo parts car. Had to cut it up to send it to the wrecker in the back of a pickup. Figured i may as well pull the diff and rear suspension that way.
  19. Interesting...240sx vlsd's are a dime a dozen here in canada. I wonder how much a shop would charge to do this.
  20. Just some advice.... some parts are far more accessible when the car is upsidedown
