  4. Both just remember nitrous will not hurt an engine, detonation will! with zero detonation turbo + nitrous will never harm an engine. and when i say both i mean full time also. not just to spool the turbo but to spray the whole 1/4 mile
  5. scottie runs SDS on the buick motor??? he said something about a chip so i would think he is on the buick computer. and does'nt James run a TEC 2?
  6. where did it move to? and locking threads is kinda hitlerish so what if they dont agree, let them argue with each other. at least it was something worth reading, not "how do i put a 280zxt motor in my 240z??" i for one looked forward to reading their comments and in between the personal stuff they were talking about cars.

  8. can you give me a rough estimate of what that would cost? i cant seem to find my way around their web site too well.
  9. i am looking for some kind of an aftermarket intake manifold for the L engine. fuel injected and made for O-Ring injectors. i have heard of some TW company,(TWM i think) but there website was less than helpful. anyone know of anything hiding out there somewhere?? TIA
  10. thanks everyone, i know there is more left i just need the time to extract it. not to mention it is a 110 mile trip to the dyno.
  11. hmm okay here are the specs stock L28ET with 130,00 miles ( and i mean bone stock) SDS with 72LB inj 24x11x3 intercooler 3" exh turbo back T3/T04E turbo thats about it, oh and those are not any kind of peak numbers, that was only at 20PSI. the car regularly runs 25-26PSi on the street, i have not gotten that far on the dyno yet.

  13. Shane, you are putting out 475 foot pounds of torque on a stock engine? wait a minute, in my post i said 450Ftlbs. yes on the stock engine which is why i assume you will be much higher than 475.
  14. so you are upgrading to a tranny that is not rated to hold the torque of your engine? 475FTLBS? i put down 450 FT LBS with a stock motor, i would think your built motor would make well over 500 ftlbs of torque. oh well i hope it works for you. oh and yes i have also heard that they are notchy

Jeff, i have alot of friends in the Mustang crowd. i have not heard of anyone being satisfied with a tremac!! i know one guy blew out second gear with the stock 5.0 motor. at the ford events they seem to call it " a very overpriced T5". from what i understand that tranny is not any stronger than a stock T5. hell if i remember correctly it is not rated for much power over stock. i would think that the stock tranny would handle your setup. just thought i would let you kknow the things i have heard.
  16. hurst?? OMG that is the worst thing i have ever shifted!!! you should try the RIPPER or the PRO 5.0 shifters. but then again it is all personal preference . although i did snap two shift rails with the hurst (even with the stops), but did not damage a tranny with the ripper. FWIW i just could not stand the way the hurst felt.
  17. i have a paxton regulator, works fine. you wont find one that will go below 30 PSI AFAIK. Nathan try MSD, part number MSD 2222 it sells for 50 bucks at summit. go to summits sight and do a search for that msd part number. they do stock it, only they dont advertise it. you have to search for it. raises presure at a 1:1 ratio.
  18. what James said, i was whatching my O2 volts while on the dyno, and in my case .820 volts (not that rich to me) showed up as 11.7-11.9 on the wide band.
  19. yes this on the stock engine. stock everything with 140,000 miles. i have some newer numbers, i will take a pic of the sheet and post it soon. 360RWHP and around 440 torque. this was only at 20PSI and the motor has seen 25PSI very often, just not yet on the dyno.

  22. thanks guys, i have more pics just need the time to put them up. so far i am seeing temps of 5-10 degrees above ambient at 20 psi.
  23. dont have an air dam, and yes they are painted. i can take more pics if you want.
