    Heavy springs with out the additional lift will HURT performance and reliability. There are many better places to spend 80 bucks to increase performance, reliability, economy.

    I have all of the above for an early 240z, plus other parts. I've been trying to sell the car but it has badly rusted floors, it may be time I part it out. I'm in Monroe, GA 30656.

    Braaaap did a great right up on tuning the factory efi, if you're planing to stay L28 and on a budget I'd suggest it to you. Its a good read for any one wanting to tune or hot rod their stock L28.

    Nice score, I picked mine up two years ago. I have yet to finish the body and paint, but yours looks pretty good. Read every thing you can on attaching fiberglass to steel before you try to tackle the quarter panel. The Kaminari kit for the 280zx is impossible to find, but reproduction IMSA kits are available. CAUTION: No part of the IMSA kit lines up with the Kaminari stuff. The IMSA kit does not flow onto the door the way the Kaminari does so repairing your door is a must. As far as the performance of the engine and drivetrain it can all be found by SEARCHing this site. And Please Please use some punctuation, I know you are new but it IS in the rules.     I have an extremely nice set of 9mm rods. They are std. std. Had like 115k on the clock. $160 + shipping from 30656, or trade for a metal head gasket for turbo. Other turbo or zx oriented trades entertained but NO junk.

    There were a lot of sedans raced back in the day. I would love to see an 810/maxima setup for comparison. Maybe even 210 or s12, it would have to increase the resale value to know exactly what car it belongs on.

    I typically search more as I'm sure it is here somewhere, but I only have access through my phone right now. I have a 79 zx with a million wiring issues. It has been turbo converted with SDS stand alone. I also have a complete, bumper to bumper wiring harness for an 83 non turbo. The car is going to the shop for rewiring in a couple of days so I need a diagram and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

    Pretty sure the RB adds considerable weight. IIRC from the engine weights table.

    Not sure about Germany, but here in the states you won't get a performance tire in 15 in in those sizes, 16 has some selection, 17 is infinite. Unless the 16's are incredably light, I'd go 17... thats what I'm doing. 15's race 17's street.

    The firewall is also structural. Its much easier to brace a fender (bracing off of firewall or off of lower part of fender) to compensate for holes drilled, than it is to brace a firewall.

    Really don't know- is probably an understatement. Instead of wasting money on wheels that don't fit why not buy jackstands, flares, and a tapemeasure. That is usually a good place to start. Most of the popular coil over conversions offer a pretty good idea of offset required to compensate... so that base is covered. As for the wheels your looking into and the fact that you use the word aggressive three times in a thread inquireing about wheel fitment I won't waste too much time describing tire selection. But just incase I've read you wrong... take it from the guy with 15x14s out back, you won't be able to buy street tires that suite them for less than $1500 a pair.

    This website is probably pretty useless to you. You need to find one of those much more usefull websites that is dedicated to wheel offset, camber, fender rolling, and fitting tires with a six inch treadwidth on a ten inch wide wheel. Generally this site focuses on modifications engineered performance, driveability, and reliability. You should find one dedicated to more useful data. Now that that is out of the way, my 15x10 -0 fit fine up front with 1 inch spacers effectively making them -25. The problem was the big 23x11.5x15 hoosiers. I would bet that a slightly more narrow tire (or better less offset) would have done the trick.
