  1. Im with cockerstar. Body kits on z's just dont do it for me.
  2. So after taking a better look at what I was dealing with, it was realized that by disassembling both grilles I was able to use the cross slats from the 240z grille in place of the shorter slats. Only moddification that was required was 2 extra holes to be drilled on each slat to compensate for the extra mounting points. Here are some pictures Here is a picture of the 240 grille with a piece of the 260. You can see where the last mounting holes are not present on the slats from the 240 grille. half way assembled Drilling Grille assembled and ready for paint RustO! Primed and ready for paint Finished
  3. Scottkell, are you a billionaire? Nice collection of vehicles. Specs on the s13? Ben P.s. should this be in the s30 forum?
  4. That color looks great! Cant wait to see the ZGs on there.
  5. I like the Grill your car is wearing. Where did you get this, or did you mak it yourself? Also i think that these slats will not diffuse the air too much to make a noticeable difference on your intake.
  6. Im looking for the gasket that goes in between the distributor shaft and the mounting point on the block. It has 3 holes. one for the Key'ed shaft and 2 for bolts mounting on either side. I was checking black dragon and was unable to find this piece. Should I just use silicone? Ive been running it without for a while and there seems to be a small amount of leakage. Thanks Ben
  7. Thats a xenon front spoiler. Check www.thezstore.com . pretty common part. Also, yes, It is bolt on and will not require any modding of your original body. P.s. lets see some pictures of your car!
  8. Congrats ethros and lars! you are about to make a whole lot of money. Ben
  9. Not to flame with the classic response but... "this has already been covered once in detail. Use the search button". Here is the link to the best thread on this forum about this subject. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=109717 I am actually also in the middle of trying to tackle the same thing and cant seem to get the dimensions right for creating this home brew bracket.. Ben
  10. Does anyone have any pictures of the back of BARACU's setup? I checked the hardware store and found a limited selection on nipple connectors. The only ones i found stick further out then then connector from the fuel bowls. Thanks Ben
  11. These pictures made me think something "I wonder if the Japanese do mirror conversions to make them located on the doors as apposed to the fenders."
  12. Since your rocking the rattle can paint job im sure you could probably do something a little better then mesh. Maybe some amature fiberglass work? Ive yet to do any fiber work myself but from the looks of it it seems like an easy job. Personally I like the look of the lower signals better then the upper. Im going to get new lenses for my bottoms and somehow fab in a 240z grill that doesn't have the upper signals. Keep us posted, I wanna see what you do with your airdam! Ben
  13. I work for fedex as a shipping software tech support agent. Tada!
  14. I also agree... All of this work just for some hyundai in your Z? Why not custom build it at this rate.
  15. I sold one on the parts section of this forum a few weeks ago
  16. I built a small pump using cheap parts at home depot
  17. I dont think its completely the issue, but I do smell gas in my engine bay and even after I shut the car off, so It couldnt hurt to fix this up with my free time. Plus it will be fun!
  18. I might go about getting some nipple connectors and threading them into the backing plate for clean install if that is the case
  19. Heres a picture of what BARACU from the forums has done I wonder what kind of hose that is? also I wonder what the back side looks like. Ben
  20. At medium to highway speeds when I let off of the accelerator quickly my cab is filled with a nasty fuel smell. This can get pretty harsh and creates an unpleasant drive. Ive checked the exhaust system and pretty confidently ruled this out to be the main cause of the issue. One thing that does concern me is the fuel bowl breather tubes. After talking to a few folks at a localz repair shop and looking at photos on the web I determined that these are supposed to dump back into the intake/air filter. Unfortunately with my K&N filters I do not have the inlets for these connections. Before taking a drill to the backing plate of my K&Ns I wanted to check with the forum members to see if you think I should do this. Here are some pictures to assist. Thanks
  21. Someone email this to Nissan already.. I think any of the higher ups there would crap their pants at this concept. Although it reminds me of the concept they tried that did not gain much popularity http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/63/Conceptz.jpg
  22. Look at those tubs of grease.. "280z". Coincidence?... I think not.
